Kristen Stewart to play Joan Jett

It seems that Kristen Stewart will be playing Joan Jett in the rock and roll biopic, “The Runaways.” I think this is the role that Kristen was so excited about but wouldn’t mention. To read more, click here!
“The film will revolve around Jett and Currie and follow them from the band’s meteoric rise as teenagers to their dissolution and disillusionment.
The movie is eyeing a 2009 start and will work around Stewart’s commitments to the two “Twilight” sequels. The first one, “New Moon,” is expected to shoot sometime in first-quarter 2009, with Stewart reprising her role as Bella, the human who falls for a vampire.”

yeah she only has a contract to do New Moon and Eclipse just like Rob. When they had signed Summit didn’t own the rights to Breaking Dawn because it wasn’t out at the time.
I love Joan Jett so this is going to be awesome!!!
So if they make a movie for Breaking Dawn, who is it going to be?

Fresh from the success of “Twilight,” actress Kristen Stewart has signed on to play rocker Joan Jett in the upcoming biopic “The Runaways.” Except that she “forgot” she was already signed on to play Bella for two more movies in the Twilight series — oops! How could she forget that she signed on for two more movies? Didn’t rob say that they would have to rush production because of his age?
I’m so excited they’re doing a biopic of Joan Jett. She’s one of my favorite musicians of all time. I think Kristen will do a good job. She’s just gotta work on her badass side 😉

I LOVE JOAN JETT! I can truly see Kristen playing her. If you know Joan Jett’s style, Kristen can pull it off easliy! And without Joan Jett’s Rock style, so many current rock girls wouldn’t exist today!
And I think the “Postpone” ariclte is BS too…..TST above cleary quotes that they will work around her twilight commitment.
