Jacob Casting Decision This Week?

Entertainment Weekly has a new article discussing Taylor Lautner’s role in New Moon.
“This week, Summit Entertainment is expected to announce a big casting choice for the next film based on Stephenie Meyer’s wildly successful series of vampire romance novels.”
“By the time you read these words, Taylor Lautner’s fate may already have been decided. He’ll either be reprising his role as Jacob Black in the almost-ready-to-shoot Twilight sequel New Moon, or he’ll be an exceedingly rare species in Hollywood: an actor fired for looking too young.”
plz let him be in the movie not anyone else. that’s so unfair!

just because jacob needs to be ttall and more mature physically, doesn’t mean taylor can’t play that role cause he is young

I love Taylor but if they were to replace him I would think they would go with Steven Strait seeing as he was one of Stephenie Meyer’s original choices for Jacob. I would so much rather have him than Michael Copon but I REALLY hope they keep Taylor. I thought he was really good in Twilight and he’s just so adorable.

Whenever I am reading and picture Jacob Black it is now Taylor Lautner’s face I see. When you are dealing with a book it is hard to just change those perceptions. I think it would be a big mistake to replace him now. I think we have all come to terms with the fact that the Jacob in the movie will not physically be exactly how Stephenie Meyer described him. We’ve moved past that and Taylor Lautner has become Jacob Black in our minds. Come on Summit, do your homework, check the websites, see what the fans want.
