2008 was a great year for Twilight fans! To commemorate the past year, we decided to bring you a brief recap of all the great events that made 2008 the year of Twilight! What were your favorite moments? Are there any events that you would add to our list of the year’s best?
JANUARY
18th ~ First TST Episode recorded
19th ~ It was announced that parts of Twilight would be filmed at Kalama High School
26th ~ Twilight was switched from Pre-Production to Production on Summit’s Website
30th ~ Twilight MySpace Community closed it’s doors
FEBRUARY
6th ~ Breaking Dawn Release Date Released
7th ~ Justin Chon and Anna Kendrick are announced as cast in Twilight
8th ~ Cam Gigandet is announced as James
11th ~ Michael Welch announced as Mike
13th ~ Kellan Lutz joins the cast of Twilight
14th ~ Jackson Rathbone cast as Jasper
19th ~ Culen Family photos released
21st ~ Billy Burke, Taylor Lautner, Christian Serratos, Edi Gathegl, Rachel Lefevre, Sarah Clark and Gregory Tyree Boyce joined the cast.
23rd ~ Movie release date listed as December 12th, 2008
MARCH
7th ~ New Twilight Graphic released from Summit
11th ~ MTV asks what to call Twilight fans…

the Twilight Tuesday when Rob and Kristen talk about the romance, their chemistry, the kissing scene, when Kristen wiped something off the corner of Rob’s mouth (lol), Kristen says Rob is handsome 🙂 all in one interview 🙂
and the day when Rob renamed himself Spunk Ransom baby! i know we first heard about it in the interview at the MTV Movie Awards when Rob and Kristen were inteviewed by Larry
