New Moon Taglines?

IMDB has a list of New Moon taglines on their site. Now, I don’t know if these are official, but what do you think of them? Are there certain lines from the book, or ones you made up, that you think would be a better tagline?

wow is just about all i can say after reading that. Those are worse than the ones for twilight! I absolutley hate the one that says somewhere a clock is ticking… and I totally agree with the people from the imprint podcast about all of these taglines. They’re so stupid! the only one thats okay is the one that says if you can’t be with the one you love, will you stay with the one who loves you? thats about the only one that will draw people in….
oh and for the Fally Wally person….love bites back….sooooooo stupid!

really i think all of these have no connection to te movie at all i mean they made them look like they belong but really…somewhere a clock is ticking…..what is that supposed to mean!!!!!!….and another thing if you go to twilight source.com you can listen to this podcast called inprint and they had alot to say about these taglines….they made a lot of sense and to tell the truth i side with them….these have to bee bretter…the only one i like out of these choices is the one that says if you cant be with the one you lovew will you stay with the one that loves you but all of the others are so wrong for a movie like this
I absolutely love the one that says, “Forbidden to Remember; Terrified to Forget.”
It fits the plot of the story line so perfectly!! I also really like, “When you can’t be with the one you love, will you stay with the one who loves you?” and “It will be as though I never existed. ”
“Love bites back.”…… not so much. I find it a little…. odd?It doesn’t capture the true meaning of what happens.

Did everyone see that Imprint’s tagline, “Somewhere Bella’s stove is on” has actually made the IMDB site. Priceless. I truely hope that they keep the tagline since it has become famous in the Twilight community, especially the ones that loyally listen to podcasts.

Somewhere, a clock is ticking
For me it means that time doesn’t seem to pass in the same way for Bella than for the rest of the people, she doesn’t know how much time passes or how mucho doesn’t. so it’s like okay, there’s a clock ticking but I can’t hear it. I came up with this for the quote she said in New Moon:
Time passes. Even when it seems impossible. Even when each tick of the second hand aches like pulse of blood behind a bruise. It passes unevenly, in strange lurches and dragging lulls. But it does pass, EVEN FOR ME.

I think it was on IMDB for a while. I’m pretty sure everyone has heard that one already, though. There could also be one that’s like “Alice isn’t always right.” or something like that. Or, one of my personal faves, “Never trust blonde vampires when they tell you your girlfriend is dead.” But that’s more like a life lesson learned in New Moon…
I really cried on New Moon the time Edward has to say goodbye to bella in the woods… ;(

It will be as though I never existed.- I think its too much about Edward. I mean, the book barely includes him during the middle portion other than what Bella mentions.

i hate love bites back it doesnt seem sad it seems more like edward hates bella. my fave is it will be as though i never existed because its from the book and its really deep. i also like ‘We couldn’t feel love without pain.’ i think its from a poem. i also think something that hints to there being wolves in the story would be good too.
oh and i take it someone here likes imprint. “somwhere bella’s stove is on” lol

another one i like is ‘can you tell the biggest lie of your life’ referring to when edward lie to bella about not loving her anymore
It will be as though I never existed. – It’s a great quote from the book. It’s heartbreaking but if we’re looking for a quote that really captures the movie, this isn’t it. Don’t get me wrong, I love this quote a lot more than any other one up here but when it comes down to it, it only captures the heartbreak and the pain, not the whole story.
Forbidden to Remember; Terrified to Forget. – This quote really captures the whole story simply because it’s her reason for doing everything. In New Moon, everything Bella does is fueled by the fact that she doesn’t ever want to forget Edward but also the fact that she can’t just full on remember him without falling apart. Throughout the book, this is what she lives by. It captures the motive behind every one of her actions. It captures the heartbreak and pain as well. It really is New Moon.
Somewhere, a clock is ticking. – It really captures how nothing, not time not life or anything, really has meaning to Bella anymore. Time, which she was constantly fighting to become a vampire, means nothing when her life is over. This quote would be great expect it doesn’t bring Jacob into the picture at all, or her struggle to try and figure out if she should be with Jacob or her struggle to figure out what could happen with her life. It certainly captures the void left in her after Edward left, but that’s all that it captures.
When you can’t be with the one you love, will you stay with the one who loves you? – This only captures her struggle with trying to figure out if she should give what’s left of her heart to Jacob. It doesn’t capture her pain and heartbreak or her struggle. It strictly captures her struggle with Jacob. It touches the surface that she still loves Edward but it also shows that she loves Jacob enough to consider him. It’s a great quote but again, it only sums up some of New Moon and we’re going for impact!
Love Bites Back – If they use this, we should boycott the movie all together.

Coz twilight was ”When you can live forever what do you live for” so it has that kinda When… Thing going on.
Second: It’ll be as though I never existed.
Because it is a famous line in the book and

I didn’t get Somewhere, a clock is ticking.
at first but then there is Bella rushing to find Edward so he doesnt go out in the sun and the countdown the midday has begun but people who havn’t read the book wont really get it.
and Love bites back is really tacky and New moon is mainly about Jacob and Bellas Friendship and the volturi not so much Edward and Bella so yea.

forbidden to remember teriffied to forget is like perfect! It was in the book making it perfect for it to be the tagline. Or the one that goes, “when you can’t be with the one you love, will you stay with the one who loves you?” either of those would be perfect
