Robert Pattinson Won’t Date A Fan

Rob recently told MyParkMag:
“It’s weird because the girls who recognise me are 12 or 35 years old.
“I think Twilight fans are pretty much preteens and their mothers. I haven’t met a girl of my age yet who has told me she loved my part as Edward. It helps to keep my feet on the ground.”
On the other hand, he goes on to say in another interview:
Robert Pattinson isn’t afraid to fancy women who are older than him.
“When he was asked about this during an interview for Samedi Magazine he replied: “Yes, I remember. There was Elizabeth Shue, Patricia Arquette, who must be 50 today, and Dana Delany from Desperate Housewives.
“So what? Age doesn’t matter to me and like I said I don’t really have a type.”
I am his age ;] I should go find him and tell him that I love him as Edward. I have actually been a fan of his since he was in Harry Potter! I have seen all his movies!
dang. that rules out me, the 14 year old fangirl xD
I am 24, that’s not too much older. (I am married, but he’s on my list. You know the list from friends where Ross had 10 celebrities he could date/ sleep with and it wouldn’t be cheating).
I am 37 and I am married but have a major crush on this hottie.

And when I say I have a crush on Robert, it isn’t that I am seeing ‘Edward’, it’s because of the way he conducts himself in interviews. Hey, I’m not a preteen and I loved him playing the role of Edward! Plus I loved him in the Harry Potter movie too.
Well I’m 22. I’m exactly his age and I’ve loved his work for a long time. I’m not a Harry Potter fan and I actually sat through Goblet of Fire just because he was in it. I think he’s a great actor, incredibly talented, and so amazingly hot. I would totally date him if I could ever just get the chance!

Well that’s good to know… I’m 25.. a little older and still in the age range. 😛 Maybe I’ll have to look him up sometime. LOL Let him know that I did love him as Edward… with a few reservations. My fancy towards him is not quite the obsession I’ve seen some of the fans have, but he is a good looking guy. *wink wink*
I’m with #3 Lauren. I’m 23 and engaged, but my fiance knows that Rob is on my list. I asked my maid of honor to get Rob to come to my bachelorette party, which I am almost positive will happen. A girl can dream right?
I think it would be weird for an actor to date a fan, all they really see is the role they play. I think thats why relationships between actors dont work well ether, they fall inlove with the character not the person, then when they find out who they actualy are it isnt what they want.
I believe it’s very reasonable to think that Rob will read my blog, fall in love with me and want to move to the US and give me lots of babies.

I’m pretty sure that anyone under 19-20 would be off limits to Rob. be reasonable, he’s almost 23 and he wants someone his own age who’s out of high school and it’s not illegal to be with them. Anyone 16 is 8 years younger than him, that’s a huge age gap.
Ang, relationships between actors is just as long as any normal people. Almost 50% of Americans get divorced in the first 4 years of marriage. People are just so fixated on celebrities, that they make a huge deal when the relationship is done.
