Robert Pattinson Won’t Date A Fan

Rob recently told MyParkMag:
“It’s weird because the girls who recognise me are 12 or 35 years old.
“I think Twilight fans are pretty much preteens and their mothers. I haven’t met a girl of my age yet who has told me she loved my part as Edward. It helps to keep my feet on the ground.”
On the other hand, he goes on to say in another interview:
Robert Pattinson isn’t afraid to fancy women who are older than him.
“When he was asked about this during an interview for Samedi Magazine he replied: “Yes, I remember. There was Elizabeth Shue, Patricia Arquette, who must be 50 today, and Dana Delany from Desperate Housewives.
“So what? Age doesn’t matter to me and like I said I don’t really have a type.”

Well, honestly i haven’t realy read the Harry Potter series but i alredy knew rob in that movie what has inpresed me the most is that he is such a big upcoming star i’m so proud of him i’m not realy a fan of his i’m mostly an admiour of his the role he played in twilight was amazing i didn’t know he had it in him hope him all the luck in the world for his futer i think of him much as a wonderful romeodle he is so sensative and talented i got to say he is Hot some people have said no good things to him but he is such a good person GOOD THINGS HAPPEN TO THOSE WHO STRIVE 4 THE BEST 😀
Give the man a break–He is not Edward that’s was his character–He needs a good meal fixed and couple of mixed drinks so he can let loose and be himself. You can see it in his eyes how lonely he really feels. I have a perfect place in mind…..
I don’t understand the infatuation with Robert Pattinson. Although, I do admit he is definatley hot, no one knows him. He is a good actor, ugh! kinda scared to see him in Little Ashes, but he is payed to be someone else. Honestly, I give it up to anyone who can do it. I was an extra in a movie in Arizona, and thought it was horrible. Maybe not the job, but the people. I think the most desirable thing about him is his music. His music is the closest link anyone has come to actually seeing him for whom he really is.

Hello, I’m only 14, and have spent 4 hours on the internet looking up personality and compatibility tests to tell me if robert pattinson and I could be. I’ve realized over the past few months since I read the books and watched the movie that I really dont see things the same as most fans. I’ve realized that I’m not a true fan of Robert at all. The books i loved, but him I didnt care too much for. The Edward character seemed to be like a film that casted the real him away and all I saw was Edward. So I decided to really pay attention to him as a real person instead of a fictional character. I think he isnt that great, but now I find that I have a new feeling that I’m being pulled closer to him because I know some of him. I’m often staring at his face on the computer and asking questions like…”Do I know You?” or “Am I REALLY a fan?”. I’m drawn to him, I respect the wish of privacy, I understand what he wants. In a way I think we all need to stop being obsurd about his looks or his fame, and just try to understand that what he wants is to be left alone to live his life, to stop not being able to go anywhere without hoards of onlookers screeming his name at the top of their longs. Have you ever thought of it that way? Just think about what I just said…it all makes sense.
And for all of you that think age is a big deal and that you have no chance, just think of all the couples that have a solid decade between them in their age. Their are famous and average people that have that time gap that are very happy with each other, so dont let that declare that you are never going to meet or date that older or younger person. It may happen if you beleive it could. So every infatuated Rob “fan” stop beating yourself up over one man, cause there are plenty more where that came from. Trust me!!:)

for all you 14yr olds whining cos u think your out of the dating age catagory, your probably not, did it ever occur to you that when he said so what age doesn’t matter, that he wasn’t just talking about older women. i mean look at couple like brangelina and tom cruise and katy holmes they have like massive gaps and hayden panettaire always go’s for the older guys, 9 yrs is really not that big a deal at all. so good luck. hardest bit would be meeting him.

Also, just because he plays Edward DOESN’T MEAN HE’S EXACTLY LIKE EDWARD. IT’S A PART HE PLAYS FOR MONEY. IHE EVEN IN AN INTERVIEW (which I will find if asked) THAT HE HATES TWILIGHT.

i hardly dout that he said he hated twilight, if he did then he wouldnt have tried out for the part and he wouldnt keep make movies like new moon for exmp. he aslo would not have gottin the part if he hated it because stephenie meyers would have fired him because its bad for buisn.. and if this is true which i seriously dout. but i am not always right find it and give it to us to see if it is true for myself but untill then i will believe that what you said is a lie. and as a matter of fact hes sitting right next to me so why dont you tell him that he hates it because hes saying its a lie…

What is it with guys and Desperate Housewives? Seriously, what am I missing? I’ll take Sci-Fi or Cartoon Network or TCM any day…the History Channel, for example, is about a ga-zillion times more interesting than that glorified soap opera.

Oh yeah, he’s attractive, and I am completely infatuated with the way he sings, but I’m pretty sure the character he plays right now is kind of a psycho-killer-stalker, so he’s not totally wrong about women his age not being big fans of him as Edward. I’m not at least. Mostly I just think Bella needs a few restraining orders against Edward.

OMG, you guys are crazy. I absolutely love the twilight saga. I think Edwards character is amazing and people fall in love with it because they want to be loved the way that he loves Bella. Robert is a fantastic actor and he really makes us believe in the power of his love for Bella. I read the books before watching the movies and I too fell in love with Edwards character. However, I am not crazy enough to delude myself into thinking I’m in love Robert Pattinson. I can’t deny that he is absolutely delicious and I would love to have the chance to go and have a Beer and a game of pool with him down the pub, lol, but I doubt that is ever going to happen. I have seen some interviews that he has done and he seems like an amazing guy and very funny and I’m sure his friends are very grateful to have him as a friend. I think people should just give up all of the crazy stuff and let him get on with his life. If he wanted to date just any regular girl or a fan as he said he’d prefer then he would find a girl on a night out with friends or meet one through friends. I very much doubt he is going to come looking on a blog and email someone.

When I was a teen, even then I couldn’t become a screaming idiot for a guy. I don’t know…it just seemed that having someone scream in your face wouldn’t exactly be attractive. So I tried to be pretty darn contained I suppose. I’m now going through my second childhood..heh! and i love Twilight Saga and all the cute guys even though some are young enough to be my child! Do I think I will end up with one of them? no..I have a boyfriend thanks and wouldn’t give him up for no one. Do I love the stories and the movies? yes. Do I love the romance and the lust of the whole friggin thing? yes. I’m having fun! no harm in that. I won’t be camping for days to see them, nor will I send them pleading letters to say please send me a letter or love me! love me! They are wonderful and cute but they ARE just human beings having a neat experience. I think half of the men making rude comments are simply jealous of the way they make the girls feel…and/or they are just people that can’t stand all the hype being stuffed down their throats..and I do understand THAT part. The hype bugs me too…bugs me more when I’m not into the thing! It will soon be over after two more films. No worries. I’m just enjoying myself and all the Twihards…having a blast and partying. The guys inspire me to get in shape and the books inspire me to write more. Nothing wrong with that! kudos to Twilight Saga and Stephanie Meyer.

p.s eclipse was the best movie out of the twilight saga yet! im currently reading breaking dawn and it is reallly great!

Also why have a serten typ that you alowes look for just go on with life and if you like a little sompling its ok to look for that some times but not all th time just go on with life and fined the people that you like and think could be the one when your ready to seadil down and start sompling up.
