I think she would be a good Jane, but i don’t think she should be in the movie because they’ll have to pay her a lot of $ and i think that they need to use the $ for the wolves, not for actors/actresses that have a very small role in the movies. Well, let me rephrase that, Jane is a important part, but what i mean is that the wolves are in the movie more than Jane is, so shouldn’t they try to make them the best?
I think she would be a good Jane…I think it would be fun to see her as a vamp….

I agree with #6. She would get paied a lot, because of who she is. And the budgit isnt that huge. And there needs to be a lot of special effects. i.e. WEREWOLVES. Not to mention, I dont think that she’d make a very good Jane anyways.
Jane is supposed to be young, though. And yes, there is hair dye. Kellan didn’t originally have brown hair, and Peter and Nikki didn’t have blond before the movie.

I think she would be THE perfect Jane! She is very talented, and I’m sure she can pull of evil; she’s done it before. But the only thing that comes in the way is that her managers would probably demand for a big salary, and consiering the crappy $50 million budget….
But anyways, Jane is supposed to be young. Stephenie even said it herself during a FAQ session with Twilight Lexicon. She said that Aro wated a little bit longer to change Jane and Alec, so they could grow up. They were children when he discovered them, and I guess it was a few years later that Aro changed them…I don’t know for sure but I think that Dakota is the right age 🙂

I would be okay with her as Jane. Really, it is a relatively small role in the grand scheme of things. However, I do agree with the concern over the proposed $50 million budget and how they are going to create realistic computer generated human to wolk transformations and pay another big actor big bucks.

I always imagined Jane to have brown hair and to be short and young looking(maybe my age,10, or something)so in my opinion Dakota is just not Jane material. I always thought Jane would look sort of fierce, too.My friends say the same(well most of them that like twilight)when I told them today at school or on gmail over the weekend they thought it was a horrible idea(along with there being any HMS people in the movie). Everyone says it’s pretty much a done deal but me along with my friends will not give up hope that they will find out about another actress to play Jane that would fit the part better!
