MediaBlvd has a new interview with Sarah Clarke, who plays Renee in Twilight!
MediaBlvd> When does New Moon start filming?
Sarah> In March.
MediaBlvd> Will you get more to do in the next film?
Sarah> I hope. Because it’s about the kids, they wanted to focus on them. The first scene was a really good establishing character scene for Bella and her mom, and they cut it down so much, I was like, “Oh, my God!” In the first book, the mother is written off as a nag, but they made a really good mom character in the movie. If she does come back, in a substantial way, a lot goes down with Bella in the second book and you would need your mom for. Being a mom now, and maybe I’m biased, your mom is a really important part of your life.

I hope they have the scene where Renee comes to take Bella back to Phoenix / Jacksonville with her, but Bella throws a fit. I think that should be in there, in the blurred months.
megan — i was just thinking the same thing! they should have some of that background happenings in there… i wouldn’t want them to have bella depressed for like 2 minutes in the movie before jake saves her… they need to show what happens…

She’s an amazing actress…and I can’t wait until the whole finding out about the proposal scene thing in Eclipse *Snickers*
