Twist Online is reporting that Lucy Hale auditioned for the part of Jane in New Moon!
“Well, I did read [for the role of Jane]. We had some talks about it. But I think they just offered it to Dakota Fanning, the role I was interested in. Which is great – I’m a huge fan of her! So, I think she’ll probably take that. And I mean, as of right now, I’m not sure if it’s going to work out. But I’m definitely still going to see it!”
“I’d take any role!” she spilled to us. “Leah Clearwater, but I think there’s already talks with somebody else. I think they’ve already offered it to someone. I mean, we’ll see. If not, it’s all good.”

I love her on Privledged………..my idea for her was a perfect RENESSEMEE. Too bad she will probably look too old for the part when the movie comes out, but I think she is so gorgeous.

Well to be honest, I had no clue who Lucy Hale is.
So I Goggled her… I LOVE her look though. Plus, I love the fact that she’s not that well known. I’d much rather they stuck with fairly unknown actors, it was definitely one of the appealing aspects of Twilight.
She’d be a pretty interesting choice for Jane, hope she’s considered! Dakota needs a little competition. 😛

Eeeeep! I have wanted her to be Jane since forever! She is the right age and totally could pull off malicious and aggressive much better than Jane, plus, she’s the right age. I’ll be VERY disappointed if Dakota Fanning makes away with the part of Jane. Too young, too sweet!
Oh also, for JG, Lucy Hale played Effie, Lena’s sister in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. Also, she plays the part of Rose on the TV show, Privileged.
