People Magazine talked to screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg about the production of New Moon!
“Rosenberg also offered a few other insider tidbits about the progress of New Moon. “Well, you know Taylor Lautner will be back as Jacob Black. I can tell you the original cast will all be coming back. They’re on set right now, in Vancouver! They’re all up there prepping the movie to start shooting very soon.”

well i’m glad vanessa isnt in so far, i REALLY dont like her
plus she deff wouldnt be able to handle leah’s character complexity.
i thought the same thing about Chris Weitz, even though i really liked Catherine Hardwicke i think he might be able to do a really good job at making the wolves with the cgi.
I agree with the first comment. I personally hate Vanessa, I don’t like her acting much either, I don’t think she would be able to play the role of the Leah we all know and love. ^-^
I’m soooooo happy that their shooting in Canada since I’m Canadian but their shooting in Vancouver which is totally at the other end of the country from where I live!!! Whatever! lol! 😛

i hope they dont choose vanessa as Leah. i like her and all, i just cant see her pulling leah off. she has kinda been the preppy girl who everyone loves, and now shed have to go to be an outcast so to speak with the wolves, But who knows maybe she can pull it off. best of luck to her.
oh and i heard on the radio that Dakota Fanning is deff playing jane
I do not want Vanessa Hudgens playing Leah she would totally ruin her character. I also think Dakota Fanning is a little too innocent to be playing Jane but I hope she pulls it off! Cant wait to see Volterra in the movie, it’s so gorgeous!!
