Sugar Scope is having a contest of UK fans to win a signed Twilight poster! They also report that New Moon will be released in the UK on November 27, only a week after the US premiere date!

Just to update you guys, sorry to tell you all but tickets for the london premiere will not be released to the general public it is a closed invitation only event however i will keep you all updated on the event as more information comes to light.

No…… It’s released on th 20th here, like it is in the U.S.
P.s. the odeon cinema chain has posters with the release date on it and they confirmed it will be the 20th, just for the doubters. What is in doubt is the date of the PREMIERE.
When is the premiere in London? Im so confused i keep hearing its on the 27th and then im told its on the 20th!!!!!!!!
It’s not on the 27th definitely cause thats a week after the movie comes out here, which is on the 20th. The premiere is usually a week before the film debuts (the 20th) but in saying that, it’s out in america the same time (the 20th) so I don’t know when they’ll schedule the american or the uk premiere. No one has definite dates for the premiere because there are no tickets to buy – it is a private event. I think we’ll have to hold on before we know for sure.

@Daisy – But we get the movie on the same date as they get it. Plus we’re ahead in time zone to them, hence we get the movie and the excitement first.

READ CAREFULLY – THE FILM IS BEING RELEASED IN THE UK —– NOVEMBER 20TH —– I REPEAT, NOVEMBER 20TH!!!!!! GO SEE DORIAN GRAY IN THE CINEMA, WATCH THE NEW MOON TRAILER AND WATCH AS A BIG HUGE “20 NOVEMBER, 2009” APPEARS ON THE SCREEN!!! IT IS A WORLDWIDE RELEASE, WHICH MEANS NEW MOON IS BEING RELEASED ON THE SAME DAY AS THE U.S.
However, because it is the same day, there will be no official uk premiere. NO UK PREMIERE. But Summit have promised to put something on for the fans but it might be before the u.s. premiere (nov 16).
Now…… the reason cineworld says the 16th of october release date ————— that is actually when they start selling tickets. I repeat, the 16th of October is when you can start BUYING tickets for MOVIE which is OUT on NOVEMBER 20. The movie is not out in the uk til November 20th.
