Tri-Fold Packaging
- The finish of the rigid case is a tactile coating called “soft touch”, which is a smooth, almost velvety/rubbery matte finish. A pattern of tree branches will be foil stamped over the matte coating, which creates beautiful tone on tone imagery. The title treatment is foil stamped in a silver/blue, which completes the effect.
Exclusive Photo Cards
- The exclusive photo cards are printed on 2-sided pearlescent shine stock, which has a sparkle effect imbedded in the paper. The (10) photo cards look really amazing on this special stock, and the back sides have the same tree pattern from the inside of the rigid case, carrying the design throughout.
I am interested in seeing something not listed to be on the dvd, and that is Rob recording his song for the soundtrack. I would like to see Rob playing his guitar or piano and singing.
I rally just want to see all of the deleted scenes. It would be nice to see parts, like the ones in the credits at the end of the movie, that they didnt put into the actual movie. 🙂
I felt the movie left a lot out. Like the biology scene, of course.. but the scene where Bella is walking in town by herself & the guys come up.. I just didn’t feel it was portrayed the right way. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the movie… I just wish there were more scenes in it. For someone who hasn’t read the book, they don’t get the whole feel of it, which sucks. I watched the movie first, then read the book (Had never heard of it before I saw a preview), and when I read it I was truly shocked at how much they left out.
I am most looking forward to either the music videos or the deleted and extended scenes. I love watching music videos when they tell a story along with the song, so I am hoping that is what they will do. The deleted sceens will be awsome because deleted sceens are usually funny or tell more that they couldn’t fit into the movie.
I just wish that there were more deleted scences.

I just want to say I’m a HUGE fan of the Twilight Series Theories!!!!
I can’t wait for the DVD to come out!!!! I would like to see the deleted scenes espically the ones with Edward and Bella alone, the commentary by Rob, Kristen, and Cathrine, the seven part documentary, the never before seen footage of the Red Carpet and the Music videos!!!!!!. I was so excited to read that it comes out in March, because my 16th birthday is in March!! I told my mom and she said I could get for my birthday yay!!! so now I keep counting the days LOL!!! =D
p.s. I am pre-ordering the DVD as we speak!!! LOL

I really cant wait to see the deleted scenes because in the movie they dont say I love you, and theres a deleted scene where they do say it, so that will be good. The interveiws should be awesome, to see how the actors thought they potrayed the characters. I love the music videos so they will be awesome!!

Well…I’m really looking forward to using the DVD to WATCH THE MOVIE.
But seeing as I am being forced to respond to this question by my overly obsessed best friend(Rachel C.<—STALK HER), I suppose I shall elaborate on said subject…
I’m still kind of interested in hearing the actors/actresses of the films take on how they think the movie has portrayed the book because I strongly dislike when actors know practically nothing about the book they’re supposed to be acting out, more or less how they think it relates. So a little knowledge on the books themselves would be nice.

Sounds geeky but just like owning the proper case with all the pictures and cd’s in it, I waited so long for the film so to put on my shelf along with the other 4 books will be amazing. Hopefully Ill be able to fill my space with 3 more films and midnight sun!!!

i can’t wait to get the dvd! the thing i didn’t like about the movie was that they left out a lot of parts about when edward and bella were really falling in love. they didn’t show the blood typing, bella ditching school to be with him, and other little things like that. in the movie it just felt like they skipped a few steps so if someone hadn’t read the book it could be confusing.
i’m really looking forward to watching the deleted scenes. also i think it would be cool if they showed us how they did all the special effects.

i am mostly looking foward to the delted sceanes. beacuse kristen said in a interview about one scene where she puts her finger in robs mouth. lol i think that would be hilarious. and i hope there are some scenes with the cullens. x
Hi Kallie hi Kassie!! Love your podcasts! Ok, so I can’t wait for the DVD to come out, because that means I can watch Edward whenever I want! YAYYY!!! I really hope there will be a digital copy of the movie with it, because then I can download it into iTunes and watch the movie on my iPod. I love the Paramore, Muse and Linkin Park music videos, and I hope some of the deleted scenes will have some shots of Edward looking especially hott :). I also hope that there will be some deleted scenes with the rest of the Cullens, especially Alice or Emmett because those two are my favorite next to Edward!
i cant wait to c the deleted scenes i have to know if they put some bio scenes in there like when there watching the movie and the sparks fly between them i cant wait!!!!!
Hey guys! I am excited for the DVD because ever since I saw the movie I have been waiting for the deleted scenes. Now that I know that there are only five I hope they are really really long. I am excited because now I can also watch Robert Pattinson without having to watch the fourth Harry Potter movie. Don’t get me wrong I love the movie and Im a huge Harry potter fan but Cedric Diggory only has so many speaking lines. I hope the five scenes are:
1. More of Bella before she knew what he was (cause that was way too fast0
2. The Bloodtyping scene (of course)
3. More of them showing affection (the movie severley lacked in that area)
4.Any thing with Alice or Jasper (preferably together) or any of the cullens really
5.When Edward tells the story of Carlisle (that will be important later on)

I really wish they would put an extended version of the movie on the extra disk. I like the idea of deleted/extended scenes, but I think it would come together better for me if they’d just put it all in the film as an extra. I know other movies have done this before, and I would LOVE to see it as an extra. Other than that, I’m just excited for the DVD!!!!
Can’t wait to see the deleted scenes on the dvd. The film flew by so fast in the cinema that it’d be great to see what got the cut and why. An extended cut would have been nice on the dvd too!
As for what is not on the listed dvd features that i would have loved to see is OUTAKES or BLOOPERS…especially since there was info floating around that rob hurt his manlyhood during the scene where he has to lift up bella to save her from james. I think that would have made some hillarious outakes!
Plus i would have loved to have seen the actors screen tests…but since we know the main charaters were screen tested at the catherine hardwick’s home, it would have been unlikely anyway to get footage. boo! Love you girls…keep up the podcasts…we love you!

I don’t think they filmed the bloodtyping scene at all? I think I remember Catherine saying she was disappointed it was never done?
Any scene that wasn’t in the movie – like where’s the kiss where she’s wearing the blue shirt – we’ve seen pictures of it, but did they film it?!
I think this will be the only commentary that I might listen to, as well.
it cant wait to see anypart that was left out. There was alot of stuff left out from the movie that was in the book. and im kind of wondering if like at the fighting seen if james talked about alice and that was cut or if i really just missed it because i was ticked that the movie left out alot cuz my bf was telling me to shut up the whole time. lol i am also looking forward to that “hot and steamy” kissing scene that i keep hearing about that is suppose to be on the DVD. I’m kind of just excited all the way around too watch for a second time without having to worry about what wasnt in the movie and just enjoy it. I’m glad i preordered mine!!!
Most definitely the deleted scenes.This is what I can think of that we missed
– when Emmett says ” she’s not one of us” and all that good stuff that was in the trailers.
– If you remember at Comic Con Kristen Stewart mentioned a scene with Bella and Edward fooling around and she asked Edward if he wanted to taste her finger. I am pretty sure that its part of that scene in the forest that was in the credits ( when Edward trips Bella). That has also been in MTV twilight tuesday articles . I am really excited to see that.
-And when I was looking in the movie companion and there were pictures of Edward playing the piano alone ( I think he was composing the lullaby )and Bella and Edward talking in her house before they go play baseball.
I just feel like we missed so much. But that also means that we get more of a suprise with the DVD.Keep up the good work. Love the podcast.
The revamped ( no pun intended ) Edward sparkling. Cathrine mentioned that it was going to be on the Dvd and im so excited to see the full effect of it. I was not a big fan of the sparkle effect they used, i thought it was a little to suddle. But over all i think that it will look amazing!
what i really wanted to see on their which i dont think is on their is…bloopers!!!it would be awesome to see all the stuff that rob and kristen were discribing!!such as rob not being able to pick up kristen.haha.and just to see everyone get a good laugh about stuff.i would have LOVED to see that on their…those are usually the best part of special features…im not gonna lie they are:)i CANNOT wait for the commentary!!!!!ITS GOING TO BE HALARIOUS.at least thats what cat said….im sooo excited to hear what they casually converation is between kris,cat and rob.ughhhh i cant wait till this dvd!

So for the DVD the things I want are:
1. The behind the scenes of the medow that Kristen was talking about (with Rob bitting her finger)
2. So in the trailer there was that part where Emmett goes “Shes not one of us” and I have always wondered what scene that is!! So I really want to see that in like a deleted scene or something.
Love the podcast and on a side note, I got my best friend listening to you guys and Kassie she loves you because you dont like Jacob and thats like the only reason I got her to listen.

*b4 i start, i would like to give a big shout out to Kassie cause she is so funny with all of her little, spontaneous comments…luv ya girl!
On the DVD, I would just love to hear some interviews by the whole cast, plus i think that it would be so awesome if they had a virtual 3D game where you could be any of the Cullen family members, and kill james in the ballet room scene, or on the bright, less scary side, the 3D game could be set on the baseball field (still virtual) and you play a member on the one of the Cullen teams and you have to try and win with normal baseball game rules…that would be sooooo cool!

Hey, I LOVE LOVE LOVE your podcast I even got my friends into it. I listen to you guys on my iPod when I’m traveling to places like seattle and portland, yeah I live in Tacoma Washington. THE LAND OF TWILIGHT!!!!!!
What I’m most looking forward to is I want to see the deleted scenes and extended scenes, then the documentary. I really want to see some bloopers of like things going wrong in the fight scene and Kristen ‘accidentally’ smacking rob. Then a good blooper I came up in my head is that someone falls and gets a cut on their arm and they’re bleeding, they come up to the camera and scream “I’M MORTAL!!!!!!!” That would be funny!
What I thought when I was looking at the list of features for the UK version was that they have a lot more cool stuff then us Yankies. I don’t think it’s fair, just because robs a hawt british spunk doesn’t mean they get more stuff.
I really want to see the extended and deleted scenes but most of all i really wish it would have the original make out scene with rob and kristen before it got modified. Heard it’s sexier…..lol.

that was my original comment, and i’d like to elaborate a little. i am an obsessive fangirl. that said, i am an obsessive fangirl of the books. sure, i liked the movie, but i am in this fandom for the books, not the movies. i don’t see the point of getting so worked up about the DVD. i mean, it’s nice to have Twilight alive and on screen for those of us who aren’t Stephenie Meyer and don’t see the characters perfectly in our heads. but i’m not hyperventilating waiting for the DVD release. i’m just not that excited. some of y’all who are like, “OME THE DVD IS COMING OUT!” might think i’m crazy. maybe i am. i’m just not that excited. is that so weird?

I’m really excited about the DVD! I’m looking forward to seeing the documentary, but I’d also like to see more of Stephenie Meyer, since she IS, after all, the brains behind our obsession!
I am very excited to see the extended and deleted scenes. It will be awesome to see some of the scenes they cut out that some of us twilight fans might have loved from the book but just didn’t fit for the movie. Also rumor has it that the Blue-ray version will have an updated sparkle effect which I look forward to seeing because the lets face it the one in the movie just looked like body glitter.
One thing that I think would have been cool to see (and might be a deleted scene “fingers crossed”) is the back story of Carlisle. The scene when Edward and Bella are in Carlisle’s office and Edward tells Bella about his past is one that I think should’ve been in the movie. It would’ve really helped lead up for New Moon and would’ve been awesome to see. In my opinion it should be something those awesome Summit people should consider for the New Moon DVD! Just like a mini-movie about Carlisle or the rest of the Cullens for that matter.
One other thing that I and, I’m sure, many other Twilight fans would love to see is some video of Rob playing his music. Even if his music isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, what girl wouldn’t enjoy seeing Edward Cullen play the piano or guitar!

AH. DELETED SCENES!!!!!! i want to see everything.even stuff cut from the movie. even though those scenes probably aren’t important I would like to see them.
I an reall looking forward to seeing bloopers which from what I see are not going to be on the DVD 🙁 and deleted scenes because I want to see some of the other things they were planning on putting in the movie that were different from the book so thats about it!!!

This DVD looks like it’s going to be really good, I can’t wait to buy it.
Although I love the idea of the 7-part documentary, it might just be the same stuff we’ve heard over and over in interviews and stuff, i.e. “We knew we had be to be loyal to the book”, “This is for the fans”, ect. And I can’t wait to see the deleted/extended scenes either, but I am actually kind of interested in the commentary. Watching the whole movie and hearing Catherine, Kristen, and Rob’s comments on the movie sounds actually kind of appealing, and it will probably be really funny.
A good way to put it would be that it would be like listening to a Twilight podcast with the three of them!
Although I doubt it would be as good as yours! Love you guys,

This probably isnt on the dvd, but if in the faintest glimmer of hope it is, I’d sooo love to see the audition tapes for all of the main cast, particularly the Cullens and especially the famous Rob + Kristen Bedroom video. (Ms. Hardwicke you told us first about it so please deliver to the fans what we want!)

Well I hear on the Blue ray DVD they are going to make the sparke sence better but on on the blue ray and my aunt( who i live with) is getting me the blue ray and the nomal DVD^_^
we have a blue ray in my aunts bedroom so i can watch it in there but the nomal one so i can watch it in my room

I love audio commentary on DVDs u learn alot about what went on behide the sences
well all in all i cant wait to watch the the extra stuff I mean i saw the movie 3 times at the movies and about 7 times on my labtop ^_^
My favorites are always the deleted and extended scenes. It is always educational to see what was left out. Sometimes you wonder why they removed/cut the scenes when the deleted content seems to add so much more to the scene. Other times you can see exactly why bits were removed. It gives you a small window of insight and appreciation into the way movies are made and the decisions the producers and directors have to make. Plus watching them always make me feel like I have gotten something a little special, a little peek at something that was just for me and never should have been seen. Who cares that millions of people also have it on their DVD too!!!!
I think they also, in general, need to include more blooper clips in those “specials” collections. I want to see Rob’s face after a day of chaffing in the stunt harnesses, or the contagious giggles when someone makes a ‘Freudian’ slip or how about an unscripted Bella trip over a tree root in the forest. Those kinds of things always make me laugh, and they remind us that these actors are just normal humans, just like us fans. (pardon the possible pun there!)
Deleted and extended scenes are a given. I want to hear more from Stephenie Meyer….what did she like? If she were given 20 more minutes of footage, what would she have added? It’s her story, her baby. I would love to hear her feelings.
I heard Catherine Hardwicke say in an interview that she and rob read midnight sun and they filmed a scene from edward’s point of view that will be on the dvd. I am so looking forward to that if its true. I just wanted to add that I just discovered your podcast from listening to Imprint. I downloaded all the old episodes. I love you guys.

I am looking forward to what is already coming on the border’s exclusive edition, which I have already preodered. I di wish I could see some interviews where it seemed like Rob and Kristen cared about what they are doing. I have watched so many interviews with them together and separatley and Rob seems like he could care less about the part he is playing. I was ok with him being Edward at first and he did alright in the movies, but I am dissappointed with the way he talks about the movie. As for Kristen I think she is the perfect person to play Bell, but in the movie and in interviews she portrays Bella as being so strong, and when it comes to Edward in the books she is not strong at all. So I would like to see them doing better with interviews even the ones on the DVD. I hope they do better in the next movie too. New Moon is my favorite so I am really hoping they don’t mess it up, and I also hope that they don’t try to somehow keep the Cullens around in the movie. I think the book is so emotional because Bella is so heartbroken from them leaving, especially Edward. The audience needs to feel that heartwrenching pain Bella went through when they see the movie. They just can’t keep the culllens around. I know this is kind of off topic, but I just wanted to get all that out. I love the podcast ladies!
I really want to see the deleted scences. I have no clue which ones they have a deleted scenes but here are the one from the book that I want:
1. The biology class where they’re blood tpying.
2. Alice getting Bella ready for prom.
3. Bella writing the letter to Edward right before she leaves to go get killed or not. I want her to say it outloud for us to hear. It shows her love for Edward.
4. When Edward’s sitting in the Kitchen both in the moring and evening. Especaily when Bella shows him how she hunts.
5. And finally I’d like to see more of the Cullens.
I really am looking forward to the interviews and documentaries. i would really want them to have a special thing for what the cast thought of the books and even if they read them at all and see what they really thought of their characters and it should have some game

WHICH I CAN UNDERSTAND BECAUSE MOST PEOPLE DON’T WANT TO SIT THROUGH A 4 HOUR MOVIE, BUT I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE SOME OF THE SCENES THEY LEFT OUT. LOVE THE SHOW!!!!
