Tantrums And Tears At Twilight Audition
Feb 9th, 2009 | By Krystal | Category: Featured Articles, Movie NewsThe Times Colonist has an article on the Vancouver auditions for New Moon!
“Tears and arguments broke out Sunday as hundreds of first nations teenagers from all over North America were turned away from a casting call for New Moon, the sequel to last year’s vampiric blockbuster Twilight.
Some of the young people, who had flown in from as far away as Florida, began lining up as early as 5 a.m. at Second Avenue Studios in Vancouver’s Main Street area.
So when casting assistants told the crowd at 12:30 p.m. that no more people would be allowed in the building, the hundreds left outside were heartbroken.”
Aww, that totally sucks. I mean, they all should have had a chance.
I hate people like that. what does that mean. They have found the rest of the cast. I doubt it. 🙁
Thats too bad at least some people got to audititon
W.O.W. School of hard knocks.
Not everybody can audition… seriously give them a break. and ye i would have been heartbroken too but you can expect everybody to get to audition as theres too many people who all want to do it at the same time!
I know it kinda sounds bad but ye.
Aww, what a shame!
It is a shame for the people who didn’t make it in, but that’s the breaks. By the looks of the turn out I’m not surprised they had to turn people away.
this is so stupid its mostly people who are already celebrities who get all the roles for cryin out loud i am getting tired of familiar faces
trust me i was heart broken,
i went to that day and when i got told i was so
so upset. i agree with tessa, its mainly celebrities
who get the role, i mean i no they have experience and that
but it is quiet unfair. i will never forget that day. 🙁 :'(
dude like thats f*** up.
