Score first comment! i really hope chris makes new moon as close to the style twilight was filmed in!

I agree somewhat, I would like to see his spin on it, as long as it is as close to the book as humanly as possible. He has tons of hard work ahead of him, because you do have to make sure that the flow between Twilight and NM has fluidity plus everyone is looking for it it be bigger (and better) and then there is more to NM then Twiight PLUS he has to make sure to stay true to his work (as in him personally, its obvious when someone tries to hard to be someone else or do something exactly like them). BUT all said even though I am not extremly familiar with CW’s work I truely feel he can pull it all off and make NM the utmost best it can be.

he did alright with the golden compass, except for cutting off the entire ending. but i dont think hes going to screw this up. plus its the same writer for the screenplay =]

  4. Carolina G.B. says:

I am so excited! Chris Weitz did an amazing job directing the Golden Compass (which by the way was also based on a book.) I am so happy about New Moon and hope it will be just as amazing as Twilight!

I hope they amp it up. Twilight was pretty low budget but that was fine because it focused so much on the love story. Aside from the fight in the ballet studio I thought the special effects were lacking. The quality of film and special effects needs to improve in NM since, in my opinion, this is the weakest book or rather the one that least held my attention due to the lack of Edward scenes. I have high hopes for the warewolves since the Golden Compass did a great job with the Ice Bears (love Iorek Byrnison!!) I’m so glad they’re filming in Volterra, that should be really beautiful.
