Jonas Brothers Want To Be On New Moon Soundtrack

MTV has an article on the Jonas Brothers wanting to write a song for the New Moon soundtrack. Um…
“The movie was obviously a huge success, and if they asked us to be a part of [the sequel], that would be great,” Nick Jonas said when we caught up with him and his brothers Monday, revealing that the trio are fans of Stephenie Meyer’s vampire franchise and would be willing to write a song for the “New Moon” soundtrack. “It would be really cool.”
“I haven’t seen it,” Joe admitted. “But I have heard it’s a great movie.”
“We’re looking forward to seeing it,” Nick added. “We’ve been a little busy, so it’s kinda hard to get the movies, but we’ll see it.”
I think this is just MTV trying to stir things up. They probably went to the jo bros and said hey twilight really big, would you guys want to be a part of the soundtrack, and then this was there response.
but if this is true, then i love the jobros, but they do not go with Twilight
in the summer i was a total jo bro fan….. but than i found twilight and got obsessed withit (and taylor lautner) and i kinda realized that the jo bros…. welll they kinda sound like girls when they sing…… im still on ok fan…. like imgoing 2 c the 3D movie but i have countdowns everywhere for the new moon movie and i want the soundtrack 4 this one rlly badly like ive had the twilight one since the day it came out (i got it at 6:30 in themorning) and irlly dont want them to go on the soundtrack…. i like the music that they picked (especially supermassive black hole!!) and i like the kinda edgy tune that they had for the songs and the jo bros are too up-beatfor the soundtrack. but thats just my opinion…….
Good god NO!!! i mean the jo bros were okay in camp rick because camp rock is the kind of v v v cheezy girl movies but twilight is dark and romantic and NOT CHEESEY!!! okay rant over. luved them in the summer but now i will listen 2 their songs if their on but DON’T PUT THEM ON THE NEW MOON SOUNDTRACK. okay rant over

NO!!! I will not let them be on the soundtrack. If they are, I will not only kill myself, but I will go crazy and kill the whole world if I f*cking have to. I hate them with passion!!! GET SOME REAL F*CKING TALENT!!! Get someone like Evanescence. Pleeeeeeaaaassseee don’t let those jerks be on the soundtrack. If they do, I will rip all my books, and hate Twilight forever.
OK; I haven’t got a huge problem with them, they don’t nauseate me. But they are a DISNEY CHANNEL BAND. THEY CANNOT BE ON ANYTHING TWILIGHT RELATED! Twilight is deep and their music is shallow!
Marisa, I think you are overeacting. I also think that every person who says they won’t get the soundtrack are also overeacting. If you don’t like the JoBros then don’t listen to the song if they make it on there. It is as simlpe as that. 🙂
oh noooo!! i really really hate the jonas brothers. If they were on the soundtrack it would spoil the movie, they arnt very good song writers and the songs they do write are really pop and it wouldn’t suit the atmosphere of the movie and also the twilight soundtrack was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good!!

im sorry, but do they even know what new moon is about? They haven’t seen the movie and they haven’t read the book. They just know the movie was popular and now want to get in on the action. That is so not what i want for the new moon soundtrack.
i couldn’t agree more, they say they are fans but basically they no nothing about the series apart from the fact that it was really popular and raised a lot of money. I’m gonna be so pissed off if they do get to write a song.

I would have to go with the majority of the people having already left responses and say that I would be very disappointed if they decided to put the Jonas Brothers on the New Moon soundtrack. I think it says something about them when people who say they are fans of them don’t even want to have one of their songs on the soundtrack. The Twilight CD was perfectly fine the way it was and I think if they stick with the same type of music for New Moon it do just as well. I also agree that they should go with the music that Stephenie likes and what she thinks should go with it because she’s the one who wrote the books and knows it best and I certainly don’t recall seeing anything related to poppy boy bands or the Jonas Brothers on the playlists on her website.
