Hello ladies! First off, I just want to say: Love the site. Love the podcast. Fabulous job all around 🙂

I have a lot of favorite scenes in the movie, but if I had to choose just one, I’d say the scene where Bella finally realizes that Edward is a vampire. I just thought the montage of words and images was beautifully done. Specifically, the best part of that scene was when Bella fantasizes Edward biting her neck. OMG, I know it’s only a few seconds long, but it definitely made an impact on me! (I hope they have a some behind-the-scenes clips of that moment on the DVD…)

  2. Laura says:

My favorite scene is the scene where Edward and Bella walk into school together for the first time.

I feel like they cut out too many of the little moments between Edward and Bella that solidified and confirmed their love.

    Unfortunate, I know.

  3. Katrina Schene says:

My FAVORITE part of the movie was when edward saved bella from the van that was going to crush her. It was a very short part but it really sparked the whole movie. It made bella realize that edward did not hate her and that he was maybe more than just human. It was a pretty cool scene. The visual effect were amazing. The way he pushed the car away from her looked really…real. When they looked into eatchothers eyes you could really feel the intesity of the moment. this scene was over all my favorite of the movie.

  4. Laura says:

Also, in the book, there is a scene between Edward and Bella, I’m not really for sure what happened, but it is my all-time favorite scene from anywhere. I’ll leave another comment when I remember.

  5. liz says:

I think that my favorite scene is probably the prom scene. I love that scene because just seeing them together dancing under the sky with small sparkling lights surrounding them, it’s just beautiful. You also see Edward be his stubborn self and Bella being well Bella. When he puts her wait on his feet so they could dance….it’s just exactly how I pictured it in my mind. There’s just one thing that I never understood about the scene and it was if Victoria was there the entire time, why didn’t Edward hear her thoughts? Other than that it was amazing!

    -love the podcats =]a

MY FAVORITE SCENE IN THE MOVIE IS WHERE BELLA FIRST SEES THE CULLENS. I LOVE HOW THEY ALL WALK IN LIKE THERE ON A RED CARPET. LOL LOVE THE PODCAST KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! DONNA

  8. Sonja says:

my favorite scene in the movie is when bella and edward are in his room. OME! i love his face, the way he talks, everything! it’s definitely the best scene =)

  9. Chelsea says:

I’d have to say that one of my favorite scenes in the movie was when Billy and Jacob Black first went over to Charlie and Bella’s house to drop of the car and watch the game. It’s a small part but I love it, I just love Charlie and Billy acting like kids in the background, and Billy tries to talk like the kids and be “hip”. It was just so funny and that whole scene is priceless.

  10. Eleanor says:

I love the scene through which Bella’s Lullaby plays. It starts with the tree climbing and ends with Edward playing piano. I just think the music fit so well throughout the entire scene. Almost like someone sat down and went frame by frame putting the music to the images. I’m a nature freak, so getting to see the wilderness like that makes me happy = )

Besides, Edward playing piano is hooot!

My birthday is the 18th. I’m finally going to be 21! My mom got me the music box for my b-day, and i love it.

Keep up the good work ladies!

  11. Miranda C. says:

My favorite scene is when their in the woods and Edward go’s into the sunlight to show Bella how different he is ans starts to sparkle … it just puts a grin on my face from ear to ear lol

  12. alex rusconi says:

My favourite scene was probably the scene in the bedroom when Edward says that he wants to try something and for Bella to keep still, and then he kisses her. I love it. The intimacy and they way Edward pulls himself away when he thinks things get to far, its pure brilliance. Catherine Hardwicke done a great job directing it, and Rob & Kristen were perfect. 🙂

  13. Irma says:

My favorite scene is when Edward brings Bella to the Cullen house. The sexual tension, the eye contact, the minimal dialogue, the body language, the crooked smile, the “you really shouldn’t have said that”…. so good!!! The colors and the camera angles are so effective, and the whole dynamic actually makes me feel similarly to how I felt while reading the book. Love that scene!

  14. Samantha LeAnne says:

    I have two favorites:
    1) When Edward picks Bella up for school and they are walking across the parking lot together, while everyone is staring and he’s like “I’m breaking all the rules now anyway…since I’m going to hell” between the smirk on his face and the looks the Cullens’ are giving him, it’s just so funny. A total if-loos-could-kill moment.
    2) When Bella first meets the Cullens. Rosalie and then Alice “you do smell good” and then the lok Edward has on his face…so hilarious! I love it!

You guys are so awesome. I love you Kallie and Kassie!!!!!!

  15. Catherine says:

The prom scene! It just gives me warm fuzzies and it’s so beautiful! Plus I love Flightless Bird American Mouth, it’s my favourite song on the soundtrack XD

  16. Luisa says:

My favorite scene in the movie is when Carlisle enter the room in the hospital. He looks like a god who’s gonna save the world, and everybodys attention just walks to him. Then when he smiles you just feel the vibes of greatnes through the air and time kind of freezes för a second. Then he just walks to Bella, as perfect as he is, and help her.

  17. Samie says:

Wow my fav sence… thats a litle hard to pick but i will pick it from the movie its self…i think i would have to say, its a little part but it has such an impacted, at the very end of the movie u see victoria. i see the back of her then she turns around and she is walking down the stairs… it was packed with all kind of emotions… it was a great way to leave everyone hanging. tho most of us knows what happens… but still! lmao… well god luck to everyone who entered! and i love the podcast! u all rule!
    xoxoxox <3

  18. Sonja says:

the make out scene, of course!!!!

  19. laura heath says:

favourite scene has to be when bella meets the cullens because we actually get to see some of the Cullens and it brings the humour (thanks teddy bear Emmett), the dramaz (Rosaline is taking you down bella) and the romance (hey bella, when edward gets you to dance to you don’t tell you can’t dance; you just be dazzled).

    loves it all

  20. Tori D. says:

my favorite scene is the baseball scene!!!! they did a GREAT job on that. it was wonderful

  21. Julia says:

I have so many favorite scenes it’s hard to narrow it down, but one of them is where Bella is dying. Not the part where edward is making weird faces sucking out the venom, but the sort of montage. I thought it was very artistic and I liked the song! I love montages in general though, so maybe my opinion is moot…
    Love the podcast!
    xoxo jules

  22. Amy says:

My favourite scene in Twilight the movie would have to be the scene where Bella and Edward arrive at school together. Edward/Rob looks so incredibly hot and its just hilarious that EVERYONE is staring.
I love the podcast! Keep up the great work. 🙂
    xxx

  23. Andy says:

Hmmm… I have two which is the car park scene Edward saves Bella from Tyler’s truck and the baseball scene. The main reason for this is because the film should both these scene EXACTLY how I imagined it in my head when I was reading Twilight for the first time (many moons ago!)

    keep up the great podcast!!!

  24. Johanna says:

I love the scene when they are in the kitchen and making dinner for bella.
I think it’s sending a “human” picture of the family. That they do someting like that for Edward and Bella even do they don’t have to.

  25. Carolyn says:

My favorite scene in the movie is one that wasn’t exactly in the book. It’s the scene where Edward comes to Bella’s house to take her on a date, and Charlie is cleaning his guns. The implied warning from him to Edward is so human, so parental, so funny! You just gotta love Charlie!

  26. Sabeth says:

My favorite scene would be when the Cullens are in the kitchen cooking Italiano for Bella. Especially the parts where Rosalie shatters the glass bowl and Emmett says she must be Italian because her name is Bella.

  27. lauryn says:

I thoroughly enjoyed the scene when Bella meets the Cullen clan at their amazing home tucked back in the woods. It combines all the awkward, embarrassing (for Edward), and warm moments of a typical “meet the parents” situation with the tension of Bella being outnumbered by her natural predators. That scene exemplifies the meeting of the real world and the supernatural world that is present throughout the entire film. I also really liked the way each of the actors played their character in that circumstance.

  28. Kristy says:

My favorite scene from Twilight has got to be the scene from the cafeteria… “Those are all superhero stuff, right? What if I’m not the good guy… what if I’m the bad guy?” It’s a warning to Bella and a defining moment in the movie to me.

I also love the scene where Edward shows what happens to his body when exposed to sunlight to Bella.

  29. jamie says:

My favorite scene is when Bella first sees Edward and asks “Whose that?” The camera cuts to Edwards face and that sexy face is smoldering on the big screen. It truely does take my breath away!!!

  30. Nicole says:

My favorite scene in the movie is when Bella and Charlie are in the diner. Then charlie’s like : “I think some of your friends are flashing you’ and there’s one of the guys dancing in the diner window. LOL! It let in some comedic relief between the stiff relationship between the two of them. =]

  31. Brianna says:

Hmm, what a hard question. There are many great scenes in the movie; but i’d have to say that the ending scene (Bella and Edward at prom) is my favorite. In the book, the conclusion left many with a cliffhanger because no one was really sure if Edward had given in to Bella’s pleas. But in the movie, it leaves us with Edward giving a sweet little kiss to Bella, and that STILL leaves us wondering what happens next. And I like that Victoria was also in the very end. It was a bit of a catch and I bet a lot of the movie-watchers were thinking, “O….m….G”. Haha anyway, I really enjoyed this scene. I’m really glad that it turned out this way (and the catchy jam at the end as Victoria was walking away was a great selection ;])

    Thanks.
    :]

  32. Jamie Lee says:

My favorite scene from Twilight is when Bella gets into the car with Alice and Jasper. When Edward tells her that she is his life now, I get chills. That scene is by far my favorite in Twilight because it really shows how much he loves her.

  33. hannah says:

i loved the baseball scene. i agree that it has to be the best vampire baseball game ever recorded and put into a movie. it was great and unforgettable!

  34. Roxanne says:

I am counting down the days till the movie comes out on video! I have read all the books and am anxious to see the movies. I have only seen the trailers and loved all of the scenes. The music also is well done form what I could see as well. They matched it perfectly to the scenes.

  35. Namula Moonshine says:

My favorite scene is the baseball scene. I love a good vampire game

  36. saharasplash says:

ok, this is so minimal, but it is the most vital part of the film/book. it’s when bella realises that edward isnt human and she has to confront him. it’s the day after her research, (set at school, right before she walks into the woods), and there is nothing but the intense music. For me, the best part is when she takes that first step towards him, (which is by the way perfectly timed with the music) because it clearly shows the courage she is taking to confront him, as she knows what the outcome will be. its so devoted, even though she is terrified of what she is getting herself into with him, but her love really does quell her fear and she knows from that moment on that there is NO GOING BACK! just watch it again when the dvd comes out and you will know what i mean! 🙂

  37. saharasplash says:

oh, and the funniest (and why it is funny is because i have seen peter do this live) is when bella and edward pull into the police station on their way back from port angeles, and then carlisle comes out and he’s explaining what happened to waylon and all he says is “animal attack” its the huskiest voice ever, but since i went to the twilight convention, where he was ill, and then he said it even lower (v. sexy too!)- it was the funniest ever. so that scene will hold memories for me now and forever! hehe

  38. gracie says:

I have a few favorites but my absolute favorite is the ballet studio showdown! The best part of that is when Edward is sucking the venom out of Bella’s arm and he is having all the flashbacks. Ooh, and his song is playing in the background and that makes it all the more awesome. Alice ripping off James’ head is pretty cool too- talk about revenge!

  39. Jessica says:

My favorite scene is definitely the hot kiss scene, until Edward throws himself into the wall. I will also mention the funny wink at other vampire legends, where the Cullens are cooking Italian and they’re chopping up garlic…which is lethal to “traditional” vampires 🙂

  40. Nikki H says:

My favorite scene from the movie is when Bella pulls Edward from the school out to the woods/forest to ask him if he is a Vampire, I love the whole scene, the vibe, the music, when he is upset and picks up the tree and tosses it,, all the different angles of them near the rocks, it’s the best part of the movie, I LOVE LOVE LOVE that tension between them, you just FELL it as you are watching! They did a rockin job on that part of the movie! I saw the movie twice and that is the scene I just loved!

  41. Ava says:

Edward saves the day! When Bella is being tracked by the four ignorant guys in Port Angeles and Edward screeches to the rescue in his shiny siilver volvo…the growl, the looks on the guys faces and the protective demeanor of Edward. Gotta be my favorite part. It shows his passion for protecting Bella. LOVE IT!

  42. Kristi says:

My favorite scene is the baseball scene. I’ve watched it a jillion times on youtube and “Supermassive Black Hole” is my favorite song on the soundtrack. I’ve listened to it thousands of times!!! Just an awesome sequence.

My favorite scene in the book that I wish HAD been in the movie is when Edward stays overnight for the first time that Bella knows about….she wakes up and throws herself onto his lap. That’s when she says “I love you” and he says “You are my life now.” When I saw the movie the first time and Charlie and Bella walk into her room I almost yelled out loud “Where is the rocking chair????”

  43. Kim says:

One of my favorite parts of the movie is when Bella and Edward arrive at school in his car. I loved when he opened the door for her and when she got out and in his absolutely hot way smiled and put his arm around her and they walked toward the school while everyone was staring. I loved it. I loved his lines his smile his hair, the sunglasses. WOW!! I’m getting all flustered thinking about it now. I certainly can’t wait. I will be on vacation on Saturday morning at midnight but I’ve already found a store and am going to go get my copy. I wouldn’t miss it for the world.

  44. Jasmine says:

Wow! That’s such a hard question! Cuz I love a lot of scenes but hands down my favorite is THE BASEBALL SCENE!!!!! It was soooo awesome! It was extremely breath taking and incredibly intense! I actually prefer the movie baseball scene better than the one in the book. It just felt and looked sooo real! LOVED IT!!!!

    Jazz (Team Cullen!)

  45. Sa'Misty says:

My favorite scene was when Bella first goes to the Cullen house

“How do we even know she’s Italian?”
    “Her name is Bella”

    XD

  46. Dannelle says:

I think that my favorite scene is the one where Edward is sending Bella off with alice and Jasper and he whispers to her, and it is barely noticable, “I love you.” It is a touching moment! I can’t wait until this weekend to see it again!!!!

  47. JJ says:

My favorite scene is at the very end of the movie at Prom – Bella and Edward dancing in the gazebo. I love it so much! You can see the passion they have for each other. It almost makes me want to cry. And when he kisses her neck I almost die. hahaha 🙂 Then you see Victoria and the music cuts to Radiohead. I love that part so much! It’s so killer.

  48. Fritzi says:

It is so difficult to pick just one! My absolute favorite scene is when Edward and Bella “go public” and Edward gets out of the car at school with the biggest, most fantastic grin on his face. The soundtrack at this moment is just so awesome and pefect for the scene. It is such a “James Dean” moment. As I left the theatre for the first time, I knew that scene would always be one of my absolute favorites. I can envision that smile as I write this. My second favorite scene is when Edward is taking Bella upstairs to see his room and she stops at the huge frame filled with graduation caps and asks, “Graduation caps?” Such a funny moment, but also an indication of how committed the Cullen’s are to “their” way of life.

  49. S says:

My favourite scene is when Edward invites Bella to meet his family. That scene to me is very Bella and Edward in the book.

  50. Kel says:

    Wow! Those are fantastic prizes!
