“Wal-Mart’s 24-hour stores nationwide will host more than 2,400 midnight parties March 20 for the midnight DVD release.

The retailer said an exclusive pre-taped message from the Twilight cast on the set of sequel New Moon will be shown at the 24-hour stores.

“We know this is unlike any other DVD release in our history, and we want to deliver a memorable event and store experience for teens and adult fans everywhere,” says Greg Hall, VP of merchandising for Wal-Mart Entertainment.”
