Rob & Green Day?

In an interview with Spinner.com, Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong says that if the protagonists in their new album were turned into a film, they would be played by Rob and Ellen Paige!
Who would you want to play Christian and Gloria if this were given a big screen adaptation?
“The girl that played in ‘Juno‘ [Ellen Page] — I think she could be Gloria. The song ‘East Jesus Nowhere’ — I got the title from ‘Juno.’ There was that one part where the mother goes, “Why are you driving out in East Jesus Nowhere to go hang out with that couple.” And it was like, “Oh my god, I’ve heard of Bumf— Egypt, but East Jesus Nowhere? That’s amazing.”
And Christian, I’m gonna say maybe that kid in ‘Twilight‘ [Robert Pattinson]. He’s a good actor. There’s still more to come with that kid.”

I’m an older Green Day Fan and I totally can see Rob and them.
I don’t like it. I love Billie Joe and Tre and Mike like no other, and them, especially Billie Joe Armstrong wanting Robert just doesn’t make sense… Its like a low for the band. *sigh*

But that ‘Twilight’ Rob couldn’t play Christian,NO WAY! He will always be Cedric Diggory and Edward Cullen for me. Not Christian. I think Mike,Tré and Billie Joe has lost their mind… I think Billie should play Christian and Adrienne (Billie Joe’s wife) Gloria. If there was a movie/play about them,obvious. x)
