USA Today introduces the wolf pack, along with the first official photo! Yay! OMW, Oh my wolf!
Summit has also sent us the image with the New Moon logo on the front, which you can see above! It features (in order from left to right) Alex Meraz (Paul), Chaske Spencer (Sam), Bronson Pelletier (Jared), and Kiowa Gordon (Embry).
“Among wolf pack job requirements: the ability to work half-naked no matter what the weather in the Vancouver, B.C., area, where the film has been shooting for several weeks.
“It’s not pleasant for the actors,” says director Chris Weitz. “But they have all been good-natured. They show up on location in drenching, cold rain, and I say, ‘OK, off with the robes.’ “

who very hot. i only have one small thing to say. I always imagined sam to be tall, muscular incredibly hot and like early twenties. and Chaske Spencer just isnt. im quite disapointed acctully which really upsets me beacuse im so excited about new moon, but the others are exactly as i pictured. But i personally thing Chaske Spencer (Sam) is all wrong. xx
And that is why werewolf’s are better then vamps.. (jk they’re both equally hotsome)

Holy Cow!!!!!!! That is certainly pleasing to the eye. All I can say is they put the wolf cast in Twilight to shame. From what Chis said I don’t think these wolves will disappoint at all.

Does anyone know what the tatoos are about? I think the crest is a better way to go, they could have made them have wolf pack collars, it would have been funny, and I don’t really like tattos.
I see that they used the same airbrush makeup technique as in “300.” lol (still agree they are hot anyway.)

soloman wasn’t sam in twilight…in the credits it just says he’s jacob’s friend…i don’t know if they were going to have him be in new moon…he might not have bulked up in time or big enough to play sam…plus sam is suppose to be older and solomon looks younger than taylor kind of

okay, on imdb, it has the name “Lakota” as Chaske’s name for Sam. Is that going to be his name in the movie or is that a typo? Will someone PLEASE email me or just comment me here to tell me what the f– is going on…… But otherwise good picks for wolves…… But i really liked Krys as Embry…..); I wonder why they got rid of him and Soloman…….

That info is NOT right on IMDB. He is playing Sam. They just got their info wrong. One of the fan sites, forget which at the moment, contacted Summit and confirmed that he IS playing Sam, not some fictional character named Lakota. Hope that helps 🙂

Quil wasnt a werewolf at the beginning or middle of new moon…actually I dont think he goes through the transformation until the begining of eclipse, so thats probably why he wasnt in the promo pic.
