I feel like it kinda captures the essence of new moon
My first impression is that Bella looked extremely small and timid behind the two towering protectors (err why is Edward still taller than Jacob? Isn’t Jacob supposed to be 7 feet tall in this one?). Nevertheless, I like how they kept the theme from the wolfpack poster, everyone looks super hot and completely flawless. I like very much! 🙂

bleh, the poster is okay, it could be better. I think Twilight was more edward and bella and new moon is jacob and bella, and in this poster Edward captures the screen while we barely see jacob, only his profile. I think there should be a better new moon poster, such as jacob shirtless with bella

You have to give taylor some credit for his utmost dedication, effort and hard work to gain 30 pounds worth of muscles.
Edward should be off sulking in the background and not in the front. New Moon is about Jacob and Bella. Summit is certainly pimping out Robert Pattinson as much as they can. It’s all about the Benjamins.

I LOVE IT!!! what I get from this poster is that edward “turned his back” on bella and the life he could have had with her. Jacob is not really in a protective stance but he still shows his stregth like he is strong enough to be with her and protect her. but it’s still quite intimate since she is holding on to his arm. also, Bella hangs on to Jacob the way she hung on to edward in the first movie poster. Jacob is her “clutch” and far away from edward because throughout the whole book he is far from her that she just learns to deal with that. At this point in the story, neither is fighting for her. you see in her mind she things edwards gone forever but by eclipise it would make more sence to put her in the middle cuz then they do the whole tug-o-war thing…..

i like it. and so much better than the twilight one. but most of it is rob. edward is hardly even in new moon. dont freak if ur team edward but most of the book is really about jacob. plus i think taylor is awesome and hes just kinda hidden behind rob. but im glad he isnt wearing the wig 🙂

Uh,’JacobSucks’ did I do something wrong when writing my comment?I put in what I thought,just like everyone else!Did I ever say that the movies are all light?No.I just think they should add a little more color to the posters!Instead of a black background,why not go for something alittle lighter?Like maybe a dark gray or even silver?And since the New Moon logo is in gold,why not even do a gold background,and add some gold in the posters?Just MY opinion….And the Twilight movie is not ALL dark!I just have one question for you,what movie did YOU see?

I don’t know if anyone has written about this cuz I didn’t read all of these comments. But this poster got leaked on the internet before today. It was on Perez Hilton.
I don’t mind the poster. Rob & Kristen look great. This may just be me but I think Taylor’s arm looks kinda weird. Overly bulky..
And yes I do know that Jacob is meant to be really muscley and stuff but yeah.
Other than that minor detail I like it.
