What scene would you want to see being filmed?

We are getting a little ahead of ourselves this week, but we wanted to give you plenty of time to answer this week’s Question of the Week…
I would pick the scenes in Italy. I love the conversation with Bella,Edward,and Alice and Volturi because it sets up the board really for some serious thought in Bella becoming a Vampire. It introduces the monachy of Vampires and its in a beautifully creep setting. Plus leaving Italy we get to see more Cullen sceen time and you can never get enough of them…
There are two ways I could go on this…as far as an action scene, I’d really love to see them filming Bella’s cliff diving and the resultant rescue–action scenes would definitely be cool. But I think my top scene overall might be at the end of the book when she still thinks she’s dreaming and doesn’t believe Edward’s there, and they discuss different things. I would have picked the scene where Edward leaves her, but that’s so depressing I’d rather have this happy delirious one 🙂
The scene that i would pick would be the one in Bellas bedroom. When she wake up after coming back from Volterra and she doesnt believe tha Edward is actually there – she thinks she’s still dreaming! They talk about alot at this part of the book. I Would love to see Kristin and Rob’s interpretation of this scene and how there chemistry would work. Love them both!!! Xx

okay, i think i would most likely want to see some of the motercycle stunts because i want to see how they will make edward magically appear and when bella gets hurt i get to see taylor lautner shirtless. Mmm…. SHIRTLESS!!!! hehe, he’s so HOT! other than the shirtless and ghost imaging, i think i want to see how fast the motercycles can go and if kristen stewart will actually be on it. i also want to ask who was the strange guy she was holding on to in some of the pictures.

The scene I would love to see is definitely the scene with Taylor and Bella when they start hanging out together and working on the motorcycles. (I started out being a huge Edward fan, but like you guys, Taylor and Jacob grew on me). I just love how Taylor acts just like the Jacob I imagine as I repeatedly read New Moon.
The only scene without Jacob that I would enjoy seeing filmed (well, not really enjoy) is when Edward tells Bella good bye and Sam finds her in the woods. I am interested to see in how they interpret that part of the book and put it into the movie because that is a very crucial scene in the book. I cried when I read that part in New Moon and the one thing I will know to look out for to see if the movie is as good as the book, is if the movie makes me cry or not. 🙂
Hi girls! The scene I want to see in the movie is Bella’s cliff diving and nearly drowning while Victoria is swimming in the distance, watching her. Now, changing the subject just a little bit, I wanted to show this video of the reaction of two fans when watching the New Moon trailer for the first time. I know we’re all excited about it, but these two are simply hysterical! I am not one of them and I do not know them, but I happened to see it and thought I’d share it with you. =)
OMG! I would have loved to see the scene were Jacob saves Bella from her cliff diving incident. In the book Jacob is supposed to be shirtless so I am hoping Taylor Lautner will be too! I would have loved to see this just to see how Bella would look in real life after she told Jacob he was sort of beautiful. But really I would wanna see this scene because Taylor looked amazing shirtless in the New Moon exclusive clip! 😀

I would have to say that most definatly I would want to see the breakup scene being filmed, I just loved that scene because I think that, that was the turning point in their relationship and when they BOTH realized how much the other one meant to each other, that scene for me has sooooooo much emotion that I would have loved to have seen it being filmed.
Ok, with that being said, I know you only said one but…… I would have also liked to have seen the reunion in Italy, because again it ties to the breakup scene and confirms thier love and that they can’t literally live with out each other, so both scenes have equal importance to me.

I so want to see the reunion of Edward and Bella in Italy – even though your question pertains to Vancouver. A) I would get to be in Italy. B) It is so touching, vibrant, and never fails to bring tears to my eyes when I picture it.
Everything from as soon as Alice shows up! There is just SO much information packed in that as well and the tension with the Volturi can’t be matched anywhere else in New Moon
The one scene I would like to see filmed is the scene after the cliff diving. Bella and Jake are in her truck and its the part where she almost lets go of Edward and almost kisses Jake. Then something happens and they realize one of the Cullen’s is in her house, and she chooses them over Jacob and Jacob gets all upset that she chose the “bloodsuckers” over him,
For some reason I have always loved this scene. I think it has a lot of emotion and I think it is a very important part to the series. I think it really shows Bella’s character and how even though she cares about Jake a lot and would be willing to be with him, if there is any possibility of Edward being anywhere near her, she’s willing to drop everything to be with him. It makes me sad how much she strings Jacob on.
I think it would be neat to see how the actors portray this scene.

1. Bella’s birthday party. I know they already filmed that so yaaaaay!!!
2.The break up scene
3. Seeing Bella in her depression, when she was a gohst.
4. Charlie telling Bella she needs to SNAP OUT OF IT! It isn’t crucial but I think it would be nice to show Charlie concerned about Bella
5. Bella and Jacob reparing the motorcycles
6. Bella meeting Quil and Embry. I was laughing so hard when I read this scene just how Quil and Embry thought Bella was hot and asking Jacob “You know her?” LOL!
7.The cliff diving scene!
8. When Alice returns!
9. Oh! Before I forget…..When Jessica and Bella go to Port Angeles to see the movie and thats when Bella is like being really freaky and thinks she knows those guys at the bar…..i think thats what happens….I read new moon a looooooong time ago!
10. When Bella and Alice get out of the airport .I thought it was so funny when Alice asked Bella “How strongly are you opposed to grand theft auto?” hahah! and then they steal the yellow porche and race to Volterra!!!!
11. Bella racing to save Edward!
12.Meeting the Volturi! DUH!
13. The plane ride home

Hmm let’s see. I would love to have seen the meeting Edward,Bella,Alice and the Volturi. I mean its so intense from the walk there until they meet Aro,Cauis and Jane. I would also love to see the date where bella and jake go to the movies and mike gets so sick. That was funny.
The first half of chapter 12: intruder…its random, but I like it =]
Jacob jumps into Bella’s room right after he finds out he’s a werewolf. She’s half-asleep and she can’t figure out why he “broke up” with her and why he won’t just tell her what’s going on.
It’s not like super-crucial to the plot, so I’m scared that they will either cut this out or use some of the material in a different scene.
The following is a list of things they REALLY should include for this scene:
-Bella flipping out when she hears something at her window (this conversation needs to take place in her room)
-Jacob making a big entrance
-Bella being mad
-Jacob trying to explain
-then Jake leaves
Before the trailer, the scenes I anticipated the most were the scene where Edward leaves, and the one where the wolves kill Laurant. However, the trailer showed a bit of both those scenes and ruined it for me. The leaving scene was actually a bit funny, I giggled when he said ‘This is the last time you’ll ever see me’. (Waa, don’t kill me! I don’t know why I did…perhaps because Edward was so into it, almost overacting, and Bella had the same expression as she did in the beginning of the movie, when they kiss, and all through Twilight. -_- I’d thought she’d be a bit more desperate, y’know? At least start crying and such.) And as for the Laurant scene, Edi Gathegi was ah-mazing! *squee* I mean….he totally got it down. (Is is just me, or are they using different contacts here? In the last film the red eyes seemed a bit more orangey, and here they’re just smack red. But, wasn’t Laurant in Denali at this point? Hm…maybe they changed that.) He was very….elegant, I ‘spose. I really just got the predator vibe from him.
Now, scenes I look forward to at this point:
-Edward Hallucinations
ET, I think it was, said that Bella won’t just be hearing Edward’s voice, she’ll also be seeing him. I’m interested in how they’ll do that…. Will it be in a dream space, in her head, where they’re both alone somewhere? Or will he just ‘appear’ wherever she is while she is hallucinating. I’m leaning toward the first, Edward free-falling with Bella down the cliff or swimming while she drowns seems a bit difficult to do, and unlikely. As for the ‘Dream Space’ option, will it be blurry and unfocused, or will it seem very real? And how long would it go for? Because she crashes the motorcycle while she hears him…so will he just appear for a few seconds, and Bella wakes up right as/just after she crashes. Personally, I think it’ll be longer, a couple of minutes. Edward for a few seconds wouldn’t give people enough. >.<
-Movie Theater
I don’t know why…I’m just anticipating Mike barfing all over himself. XD I think it’ll be very interesting, to see how Mike and Jacob interact. This is also the last time Bella sees Jake while he is 100% human, according to the books.
-Alice vs. Jake (when Alice comes to Take Bella to Volterra)
I’ve always, always loved this scene. Especially when SM wrote it in Jake’s point of view. This is really the only time in the books where Alice really gets down and dirty into a full-out argument/fight with someone. This is the first time Jacob meets one of the Cullens, knowing what they are. Jake wants what he thinks is best for Bella, her safe, but without Edward. Alice wants to save Edward AND re-unite Bella and him. They both think that they know best. And this is, ultimately, the scene I would choose to watch being filmed. Sorry if I overdid it. ^.^

i think the tune in Harry Potter (when harry is almost going to kill belatrix cause she killed serius) would be good for the volturi part when they are captured. I LOVE TWILIGHT I DONT CARE WHICH SCENE I JUST WANT ONE!
I would LOVE to see the scene with Bella, Edward, Alice, Jane, Caius, Aro, Marcus and all those other evil vamps…THAT WOULD BE SO COOL!
I would love to see the Birthday party scene because it is so intense and is the main event that leads to Edward leaving!!
I would probably love to see the Volturi scene being filmed. I choose this scene because there aren’t a whole lot of special effects that would have to be used in that scene, so I’d basically be seeing what will be going on the film! I am also curious about how well the actors will be able to portray the characters.
Another scene I think would be fun to see is any or all of the wolf pack scenes, because who wouldn’t want to see all of those hunky actors?

okay i know you said vancouver, but my favorite scene is when they meet the volturi so i would want to see that being filmed, (i think dakota fanning is going to make a great jane)…but if i had to choose another scene it would have to be the part where bella jumps off the cliff. I wanna see how their going to film this…should be interesting!!
This is so hard for me to answer since there are so many scenes I would be more than happy to watch in New Moon. But, okay if i had to pick one that i am so curious about would be Bella’s hallucinations. To make this clear, i have heard rumors and even read in a magazine that Bella would not only be hearing Edward, but, also seeing him. I am practically losing my head trying to figure out how that will work. I am sure Chris Weitz along with the rest of the cast will make an amazing job at it and everything, but still, doesn’t that make you extremely curious how that will turn out?
When i saw the trailer, like the rest, i was begging for more. I was so excited to see Bella’s birthday scene. Alice, Esme, and even Rosalie look so cute and their outfits match their personalities so well. I know the scene between Jasper and Edward will keep at the edge of the seat, too.
Another thing that would also be intense to watch would be the break-up scene. I can almost picture the tears in my eyes watching that scene when the movie comes out. It can vary, yet i do believe it is a very important scene because it is sort of like the climax of the book, in a way at least.
Jacob’s transformation will also be interesting to watch. Many people were complaining about how in the trailer, Jacob turns into a werewolf in the air right in front of Bella and how in the book it never happened; not in front of Bella. I really think it will turn out ok because in the trailer they usually just put bits and pieces together, so, it probably does not make sense to people NOW, but I’m sure it will when we get to see the whole movie.
Other than that, one of the most hilarious scenes I am literally dying to watch, is Jacob, Mike, and Bella going to the movie’s together. I am sure I will crack myself up watching all of them trying to get along with one another.

For me the scene would have to be the seen where they sit around the campfire and the elders tell the legends of the tribe. Its so cool to get to hear that. It is a key part of the story and it is so interesting if they filmed it i would want to see how it turned out, especially the Taha Aki story. He was so brave! Really i mean i think it would be amazing to watch that.
Now, answering your other question. If I could have been in MONTEPULCIANO OR VANCOUVER OR ANY OTHER PLACE WERE NEW MOON IS BEING FILMED in order to be able to watch any scene it would have been the scene were Bella along with Alice go and race together in order to save Edward from commiting suicide. I hope they can add quotes from the book!!! The quotes tend to make the movie so much better and magical while at the same time adding a little something more!!!!!!!
That would be a very tight race between the birthday party scene and the Italy/Volturi scene. The birthday party scene was one of my favorite parts of the book, I can’t wait to see it come to life though if they were doing it wrong I’d be very mad. But the trailer has assured me that I’ll have no such problem as it plays out just as I’ve imagined. I believe that the casting was fantastic for the Volturi and I would love to see how that scene goes because it will be amazing no matter what. 🙂
Id probably have to say its a fight between the Volturi on screen or the Cliff diving scene. They were talking about the cliff dive a lot and seeing it, maybe just a short glimpse of what it may look like will be awesome.
And, regarding the Volturi, since we were aware of the casting I havent pictured ANY of them in their respective roles, but Im still looking foward to see the Witch Twins (I wonder if Dakota Fanning will look as creepy as I imagine Jane) and of course, Aro, since Michael Sheen doesnt seem very vampire-ish at all.

If I got the chance to see one scene during filming, I think that it would have to be in Italy at the Volturi’s place when Aro calls on Edward, Bella and Alice to come meet with him. I would want to see the long walk down the stone corodore in the dark! Especially to get the creepy, fearful feeling of the volturi member walking behind them! I think that this would be very tense and it would be great to see Rob and Kristen portray their fear of the volturi.
While the action scenes might be the most anticipated and the most amazing ones in the finished film, I can almost guarantee they were incredibly boring to watch being filmed because so much is added after filming.
I think I’d most like to see the break up scene. In my opinion, if this scene isn’t completely heartbreaking and devastating, then Bella’s breakdown seems like a huge overreaction. The heart of New Moon is that neither Bella or Edward can really fully exist without the other. Therefore this scene really needs to set us up for Bella’s complete meltdown. If that scene doesn’t work, we don’t see how far she comes “back to life” after spending time with Jacob. (Of course, I’m also of the opinion that no matter how much Bella cares about Jacob, she never loved him the way she loves Edward and Jacob was always really the second choice) I think that the lack of special effects and the simple human emotion of the scene would make it the most interesting to watch being filmed.
A close second would be the confrontation with the Volturi in Volterra. While I”m sure there will be many added effects to this scene, I’d love a sneak peek at the performances by the actors who are playing the Volturi. Since it’s the second movie, we already have an idea how Bella and the Cullens will be portrayed, but we haven’t seen the Volturi yet. It will be so interesting to see how these actors interpret these fascinating characters.
I would have loved to see the scene when Bella wants the Cullens to vote on whether or not she should be a vampire. I love Emmetts enthusiasm to have Bella in their family.. although to be there for any scence would’ve been awesome!
two opinions in this comment, addisen would like to see the scene where bella jumps from the cliff and the hot boy jacob rescues her. it’s a toss up for me……. i would like to see the break up scene between edward/bella and jacob/bella or when jacob transforms into a wolf. that would be rad and from the preview it is going to be awesome! edward lover!!!!!

If there was a scene that should deff be in the movie i would probably choose when Bella and Jake go to get parts to fix the motorcycles and they are counting their “ages” considering what they look like, how mature they are, and other things like that. I know this isn’t a crucial scene but it really shows Bella and Jake start to become best friends. Obviously, im not going to say the birthday, the break up, the phasing, the cliff diving, or meeting the Volturi because these parts are crucial to keep the same plot. Stephanie Meyer did such a great job showing the gradual close friendship of Jacob and Bella so i think it would be nice reflected into the movie because this is when we really start to see the amazingly close bond they have.

I really want the scene where Edward and Bella are watching romeo and juliet. Its is a very important as Edward tells Bella what would have happened if she had died in Twilight. Also you can see how much Edward really does LOVE Bella!!There so happy and so cute i melt every time i read that part!

The scene I am most excited about seeing is the scene where Bella corrals the Cullen family into the dining room to vote for her imortality. I think this scene will be intriguing because we will get to see the true emotions and feelings of all the Cullens as they vote yes or no to Bella becoming one of them. I can imagine the scene being very intense, because as we all know, Edward is strongly opposed to Bella “losing her soul” as he puts it.
Also, the scene were Edward proposes to Bella would be absolutely amazing to see. I know when i read that part in the book my heart skipped a beat, even though Bella is opposed to it. I think that showing that moment would really make me go crazy.

I would pick the scene where Edward proposes to Bella in her bedroom. I thought it was so cute in the book when she didn’t believe him and how romantic and spur-of-the-moment he was trying to be (because we all know he had this planned for months). I really think this scene is not only going to be cute but also hilarious. A lot of the little things in the book of Twilight that we didn’t see as funny came off as knee-slapping hilarious in the movie and I hope they keep that element with New Moon and change the small scenes to something hilarious-such as the proposal.
The scene I would most liked to see filmed is one that’s more than likely not in the movie (it’s not actually in the book either.) It’s a scene that Charlie describes to Alice of when Renee came to Forks and she and Charlie were packing up Bella’s stuff cause Renee was going to take her to Jacksonville because Charlie knew he wouldn’t be able to put Bella in the hospital if it came down to it. And Bella wakes up and throws a giant hissy fit. This scene shows just how bad Bella’s emotional state was and how worried both of her parents were for her sanity. And I would have loved to see Kristen go from catatonic to rage in 10 seconds I think that would have been awesome and heartbreaking to watch. Love the show.
I hope they put in the scene after they get back from Italy, when Bella wakes up and she thinks she’s dreaming because Edward is actually with her. Including the conversation she has before she is about to discuss her mortality with the other Cullens. Where she finally realized that Edward really loves her “her epiphany” as she calls it.
Oh and the scene where Carlisle is fixing Bellas arm after the birthday party, where he talks about Edward and how he changed him b/c his mother pleaded with Carlisle. Especially the part talking about whether they have a soul or not. That scene would be very important to include buliding up to Eclipse/Breaking Dawn.

My favorite part is when Bella races to stop Edward from walking into the sun as the clock chimes in – to me it is an intense ‘finally’ they reconnect anticipation moment.
Man, that’s a tough one! Because Rob & Kristen have such great chemistry together, I think I would like to see either the break-up scene or the scenes in her bedroom when they return from Italy. I also think the voting scene would be cool to watch with all the Cullens. Oh, and the proposal…I SO hope that’s in there! 🙂
There would be toooooo many first of all. However if i had to pick just one it would have to be the part when they are all at sams house when we fist meeet emily. I would love to see if the two actors who play sam and emily are able to portray that “love of ones life” interaction. It would put a face of what imprinting is suppost to look like and would help better understand the jacob and reneseme thing. Also this is when we get to soo the pack togeather and it would be great to see the dynamics of it. ( oh and i realyy want to know how emilys scar wil look like cause tinsel Korey is hot-had to add that- and i want to know how a preety girl can have a horrific scar across her face

3) The birthday party scene. it looks really good on the trailer and also watching mostly all the vampire cast would be mind blowing! lol
2) The break up scene. it would be so awesome to see it in person than on the big screen. 🙂

That’s so tough. The one I would want to watch most is the Bella/Edward reunion in her room. I think this is one of the most important scenes and you would be able to get what it actually looks like in the film because there will be no special effects.
Other than that I want to see when Bella “woke up” I think this would be so important to how devastated she is and is such a small scene but if it was in there it would have such a powerful effect. Then the cliff diving scene, and when Alice takes Bella to Italy. Oh, and the Port Angeles scene where Bella has her first halluncination.
Hell, I’d like to see the Italy scene as well when they have that HOT reunion kiss. Rob looks so devasted in the pictures he looks perfect. And duh… shirtless Rob!
Umm ok, I think the scene where Paul and Jacob are fighting eachother and Bella is in Emily’s house watching all the other wolves devour muffins. LMAO that’d be too hilarious. Plus Paul and Jacob shirtless? TO DIE FOR!!
Well, if it was a scene in Vancouver, I would totally want to see kristen Stewart and Taylor lautner with the motorcycles because you can see Taylor (oh boy is he a cutie!) and rob(I love him!) plus cool stunts. If it were not that scene I would also love to see stuff about victoria and laurent. I love how dangerous they are and the scene in the trailer made me scream like a crazy fangirl. I love you girls so much- it’s so much like my sister and me which makes me laugh extra hard.
I would like to be there for the scene when Edward leaves Bella so he will see me and want to be with me.lol jk. I would also want to see the scenes in Italy because it is a happy part and Rob has no shirt on. =P
the scene where bella comes home from work after the birthday party and realizes that theres something going on between her & edward. i really want to see how kristen stewart will react to edward’s suddence neglectence towards her. & this is when things really change for both of them & bella gets the hint that a change is about to occur.
I know, to many Twilight-ers, this may seem odd, but I would have been most excited to see Bella during her “depression”. I thought it was really interesting. I know, Kassie, you wanted to strangle Bella, but I TOTALLY disagree with you on that one because Bella is one of my favorite characters, even being depressed. But any way, I’ve sidetracked, THE SCENE I WOULD MOST LIKE TO SEE IS……. the movie theater scene with Mike, Bella and Jake. I can’t wait to see the conversation between Bella and Jake (while Mikey is in the b-room loosing all the popcorn). Can’t wait! Love the podcast ladies! (sorry Kallie! :P)
Just want to suggest to anyone who thinks Kristen MAY not pull off the emotion, watch her movie ‘Speak’. You’ll see what I mean. She will TOTALLY pull it off without a hitch.

thats tough…i would have loved to have watched the birthday scene, but i also would have loved to see the cliff diving and the scene from the cinema where Mike gets sick. That was one of the funniest moments in the book for me when the two boys are seated either side of bella, trying to inch their hands closer to hers.
The cliff diving scene would be really interesting to watch…id love to see how they’re doing it!
P.S I loved your commentary girls and i totally agree with Kassie about Jacob= boo/ Tyler = YUM!! He is looking rather fine and buff these days!

Hmm, well I think the scene I would want to watch most in the movie and the one I would loved to see filmed would be different. I am really looking forward to seeing the breakup scene, because I love to cry, but I wouldn’t want to experience the stops and behind the scenes interruptions with that. But if I got to see one filmed, it’d have to be the cliff-diving scene. It would be so cool to be able to watch the drama and action of the scene.
