Thom Yorke And Bon Iver Confirmed For New Moon
Jul 23rd, 2009 | By Krystal | Category: Featured Articles, Movie NewsDirector Chris Weitz confirmed to HitFix that Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and Bon Iver will be contributing to the New Moon soundtrack!
“I selfishly want to put songs in by artists I love. And some the cast and crew also happen to love,” says Weitz. “I think [Bon Iver] is fantastic. He says he wrote it for the film, but who ever knows if it might just be something laying around in his cupboard.”
British rock group Band Of Skulls — who have lately been opening for Spinnerette — will also be included and Weitz still is “hoping to get Kings Of Leon.”
Bon Inver is one of my favorites. I think this time around the New Moon Soundtrack will be a more sophisticated play on sort of obscure indie and alternative music, with that dark undertone, which is so me and goes with the feel of New Moon. It’s like a smarter reinterpretation of the Twilight Soundtrack. I hope the score is better. The play on evolving Bella’s lullaby from a simple melody to a full blown experience with instruments was an interesting concept but I think it could of been better.
god damn it.
god fucking damn it.
butts lets keep it g rated
What an interesting mix of artists. I have some tracks by Band of Skulls and they are a great choice!
If anything, am more intrigued by the soundtrack. but we have something more solid to work with, now, if you’re a music junkie!
Yes! I love Bon Iver
Are you fucking kidding me!? YES!!! I fucking love Thom Yorke. Thank God they’re getting good singers. Piss off, Jonas Brothers!!!
I really hope they can get Kings of Leon. That would be amazing!!!
