Rebecca Brown recently had a change of scenery. She moved from the Big Apple, to a small town in New Orleans, a town still recovering from Hurricane Katrina. Rebecca’s father had to go away for business for a few months and, made Rebecca stay with her aunt Claudia, and her cousin. She attends a very expensive all girls prep school, with many “fake” people that Rebecca learns about quickly. The only person that gives Rebecca a second glance is Anton Grey, who Rebecca has mixed feelings about.

Aunt Claudia has warned Rebecca that she should not enter the lafette Cemetery, but one night Rebecca wonders inside and meets a sweet new friend, Lisette. After investigating and realizing that the only person that seems Lisette is herself, Rebecca is confused, and then she finds out that Lisette is a ghost. Soon everything begins falling into place about why only Rebecca can see Lisette, and what her mixed feelings about Anton really are. Once Rebecca figures everything out, he has to fight for life, because if she cant fix what is going on, she WILL die.  This book was a wonderful read, suspenseful, and if you like ghost stories like me, than this is an awesome book for you!

This book is published by Scholastic, and is available now. By Paula Morris.
