  8. Heather D says:

Usually sequels (potter aside) are never as good as the original. But this book was amazing! So pleased.

  9. jess says:

**********Bea(FanOfTheMonth-March/April/May) ********* – i live in the uk too!!!! Where did you get the book from????

OOOh im so excited to read it, i keep re reading over chapters 1 & 2 lol

  10. Melaine says:

I finished last night and all I can say is, wow. I can’t stop thinking about everything that happened…..and how much I hated reading “End of Book 2” knowing I just got this 2 days ago and the wait for book three no matter how long it will be, will be excruciating!!!

  11. Stephany says:

Was the first to purchase it at B&N here, read it all day way into the night! I LOVED IT!!!!! Can’t wait til the third and the movie. Hope it doesn’t take another year, but I am sure it will. The book was great, full of surprises. I’m in the process or re-reading it, slowly this time to appreciate it to its fullest. (Read HG 6 times)

  12. Brandi says:

Im with Melaine! The wait will be taking tourture to the greatest extent!!! I’ll feel like Im hear a Jabberjay the whole time.hehe sutle spoiler I don’t think I gave anything away… Both books are equal in my opinion, just apsolutely fantastic!!!

Stephany are they really making a movie???!!! Can it be; my dreams come true?!

Can life get any better, Twilight saga….. Hunger Games….

Yes, if they make the Host into a movie (OMG with STEPHEN STRAIGHT AS JARED!!) that would be the chocolate topping on top of chocolate icecream…. O geez!

  13. Mrs. Ariana Edward Cullen says:

I haven’t finished reading it yet. so I’m not gonna read your guys’ comments because I don’t want to be spoiled. All I have to say is that i really can’t choose between Peeta or Gale. It’s weird because when there’s a part with just Peeta I like Peeta better, but then when there’s just Gale I like him better πŸ™ So it’s really hard to choose. And I was almost crying when Gale almost died from being whipped

  14. Ellie says:

I just got around to reading the Hunger Games and was so happy to see Catching Fire come out on 1 Sep…but now I hate having to wait for the third one! Absolutely love the series! I have been looking for something that I love as much as Twilight and haven’t come close until these books.

One of the thoughts that popped into my head when I was reading both books was the location of each of the Districts. District 12 is said to be in Appalachia…WV/PA area (?), and the Capital is just over the Rocky Mountains (right?)…. Based on the specialties of each of the other Districts, has anyone ever wondered where in the former US/North America the other Districts are located? Just a side thought as I wondered about the mysterious District 13!

  15. Mrs. Ariana Edward Cullen says:

    *WARNING: SPOILER AHEAD*!!
Duuuuudddddeeeee OMP (Oh My Peeta lol) I just finished reading it and it blew my mind away! I like it more than the Hunger Games! There is a lot of twists and suprises and action and aaaahhhhhhhhhh! The ending took me by suprise so much! I truly hated Plutarch Heavensbee until I found out he was good. And the end is such a cliff hanger! I thought I was really anxious after The Hunger Games for Catching Fire, but now my anxiety is 354634338764354341 times higher because I want to know what’s going on in District 13! And if Peeta’s going to survive. I’m so glad Finnick lived; I was sad that he was gonna have to die because I really love him….but it’s all good now πŸ™‚ And I wonder whats going on in the other districts. And I’m so mad that District 12 is gone.
Wow I was just going on and on but I’m just so excited to see what’s coming!

And to add on to what Ellie said above, District 4 is for sure on a coast somewhere. I’m just trying to find out where.
