Hi Kassie and Kallie! This question is good… haha. Twilighters, Twiheads, Twi hearts…..if we’ve been nicknamed around the world , you know we’re def super cool! It’s a sense of companionship and a community in itself. Every time i’ve met a twilight fan, we always click. great chemistry like we’ve known each other for years! Not to mention the best part about all of this twilight saga-ness is that people like me have actually started to read other books as well. I never used to be a reader until these FanTabuLous twilight books, and now, borders is my FAV store…. Keep up the awsome work , and as u know, i would never survive work without u gals! 🙂 haha!! Oh! and i think we should have a question soon to celebrate the release of new moon DVD of our fav part in the movie/ book… even twilight too! I’ve got the best answer hehe … just a suggestion! Love ya’lllll!

Hey ladies! I am new and I love the podcast. Good question and even though there probably is both amounst the millions of us, I would say majority…dun dun dunnnn lol is absolutely crazy. Maybe passionate is a better word. Let me explain, Twilight fans range from all ages and of course all from all levels of fandom but from what I have seen, its a frenzy. Whether it be the love of Rob, Kristen, Taylor or just the books itself it seems everyone is koo koo for cocopuffs. Whether it be the millions of girls screaming, the crazies asking Rob to bite them, the thousands of fan vids on youtube or the thousands of fanfiction written everyday the frenzy of “passion” for Twilight is everywhere. I myself can watch hours of Robsten or Bella and Edward vids, but would I faint or cry seeing them in person, probably not. Dont get me wrong I would be very nervous and nerdy but no I wouldnt be screaming in their faces and trying to attack them. I think when people are passionate about something such as Twilight its easy to get a little crazy, some more than others but when there is a fine line of “edward” being almost real to people, girls wanting a guy like him etc etc, thats when I step back and say Woah…he isnt real…if he was…holy crap god help him. Now after all that is said and done…I leave you ladies with one last thing…”What do you mean Edward Cullen isnt real?” lol Hey I never said I was’nt one of them ;P

Twilight fans reside on a very broad spectrum – there are those that sheepishly and furtively read Meyer’s novels on the subway, those that frequent fan sites for news and fan interaction, and those that ask the stars to bite them. My favorite are the ones who seek fan interaction. Once, I was re-reading New Moon on the bus, and the girl that sat next to me pulled out her copy of Twilight and started a conversation. It was cool to be united in our love of Twilight. I worked at a bookstore for a while, right around the time when Twilight was about to be released in theatres. I remember one girl who came in nearly everyday to watch the promo video playing in the YA section, and sit in the cafe scribbling fan fiction, likely starring lots of Edward in some very steamy situations. Even my 19 year-old brother, who is in the Army Reserves, likes Twilight. My mom’s book club read the entire series last summer, and she is totally Team Jacob, especially after seeing Buff Werewolf Taylor Lautner remove his shirt in New Moon.
Personally, I read Twilight news daily. I’ve reread the books too many times to count. I’m still not really on anyone’s ‘team’. I think we really all should be on Team Stephenie. Though I wish she had a better editor.

    Hi Girls!
You guys rock and I love the podcast.
Anyway, Twilighters are crazy but in a good way. I’ll admit the ones who break – up with their boyfriends because they aren’t Edward Cullen ARE insane. I think I’m crazy about twilight……… CRAZY IN LOVE WITH IT. At first I hated Twilight. I didn’t know why people loved it so much. Then I watched the movie. I thought it was pretty cool but then I read the books………………………………… I fell in love with Twilight!!! I have read the books 12 times and watch the movies like a million times.
So anyway you can be the jugde but all I know is that Twihards are crazy………… in love!
    Chloe

This is kind of starting to be the “Question Of The Month”….

  12. Alice (real name Abbison Allyson so weird!) says:

today I was looking bake on older episodes and this has nothing to do with This question of the week, but it was the one week when you guys asked what the Cullens jobs would be. And i got the best idea for Alice and Jasper, Alice: weather girl (like on T. V. and stuff) then Jasper: tharepest (thats all i have to say about that)

  13. Sylvie says:

    Hmmm, very good question.

I think there is a fine line between cool and crazy. There are definitely a bit of both. The stalking, disrespecting kind, yes definately crazy. But most fans, who just want to enjoy the phenomenon in the best way possible, well that’s cool to me. Some people have different ways of showing their passion and I don’t think being ovewhelmed and emotional about something you love is being crazy. It’s different for everybody and I think it’s great that people can find things like Twilight to be passionate about. It’s what makes life interesting… assuming you stay in contact with reality. lol
