Kristen Confirms Three Directors Are In The Running For ‘Breaking Dawn’
Mar 17th, 2010 | By Krystal | Category: Featured Articles, Movie NewsKristen has confirmed to MTV that there are three directors under consideration to make Breaking Dawn: Sofia Coppola, Gus Van Sant and Bill Condon! This doesn’t mean that one of these people will ultimately direct “Breaking Dawn,” only that they are being pursued.
Here are some of the highlights of the aforementioned directors’ careers:
Gus Van Sant: “Good Will Hunting,” “Milk”
Sofia Coppola: “The Virgin Suicides,” “Lost In Translation”
Bill Condon: “Dreamgirls,” “Gods and Monsters”
If one of the people DID direct “Breaking Dawn,” who would you want it to be?

Sophia Coppola!!!
I think chris wiez
My opinions:
-good choices
-gus van sant has a lot of experience as a director
-sofia copola has been an actress so she can relate to (and in turn help) the actors well
-bill condon has done multiple amazing movies
however sofia copola’s style is my favorite
I think Catherine hardwick should have made all of them including breaking dawn. I have liked both movies but you can definately tell they were done by different people. The Cullen’s makeup looks different in new moon. Their eyes are all golden all the time while in twilight the eye color flucuates. I’m just saying one director SHOULD have done all four movies!
I definitely agree with Bone’s comment. The same director should’ve been given the chance to create all 4 movies instead of switching it around every time. The character’s eyes WERE golden every time but in twilight, you can easily see the difference between a thirsty vampire and a non. It would be excellent to just stick with Catherine Hardwick as producer for all four series. This is a big bummer!
