Stephen Daldry A Candidate To Direct “Breaking Dawn”

The L.A. Times is reporting that director Stephen Daldry is being considered as a candidate to direct Breaking Dawn. Daldry has been nominated for an Academy Award for every film he has directed; “The Reader,” “The Hours,” and “Billy Elliot.” This does not mean that he WILL direct Breaking Dawn, only that he is under consideration. Thoughts?
I don’t see this one. I mean really??? His typical movie content seems too heavy. I don’t think he would be a good match for Breaking Dawn. .
well Breaking Dawn is pretty heavy…
that they need to select a director who is dedicated to Stephenie’s vision and the source material…that’s how you pick. Not who won this or that or whatever else!
