A Note To Fans From Bill Condon

Bill Condon, who we recently learned will be directing Breaking Dawn, has written a note to fans addressing his new position in the franchise, and will be answering questions from fans on the Twilight Facebook page!Β Click here to read his entire note!
“I’m pretty busy bringing myself up to speed on what you already know by heart: I’ve read BREAKING DAWN twice, rewatched Catherine’s and Chris’s movies 2-3 times each, have all four CDs playing in my car, and have Catherine’s notebook, Mark Cotta Vaz’s companion books, and even Volume 1 of the graphic novel here on my desk – a corner of my office is starting to look like Hot Topic. I realize that this barely qualifies me for “newborn” status in the universe you’ve been living inside for a few years now, but a guy’s gotta start somewhere.”
That was very sincere. I like him!
Okay then.
That is good to know.
I think he qualifies as a sweet heart.
Very cool!
Ahahahahaha I liked the Hot Topic comment. He’s funny..
I think he will do a great job!
hhehe he’s cool… off to a nice start Codon, reassuring

You have to wonder how intimidating it is to be a director coming into the Twilight world. Twilight fans can be very unforgiving especially to the new directors for each movie. On top of being the newest director he has to also tackle the tremendous task of bring Breaking Dawn to life. Which is going to be the hardest book to transfer into a PG-13 script and to have to jam a huge book into a two part movie without losing the integrity of the story.
I have to say though that I’m thrilled he’s released a note to the fans, and is trying to learn as much as possible about the series. I love the “newborn” and hot topic comments, it’s quirky and cute. Like all the rest I’ll be hoping he can do it justice… I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed.
I think Dabney put it well… “off to a nice start Condon, reassuring”
**bringing …. typos everywhere today.. blah!
He is cool. And he kind of looks like a cross between Alton Brown and Giles from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. π
I really like him,, he seems like a cool guy π
any guy who can pull off them specs has to be given somecredit π
i really hope the film is made into two,, one film would mean that they cut LOADS out,, then id be sad π
i mean i would sit through one 10hour long film if it meant that it got everything in ( yupp im a bit on a saddo)
