Chapter 15: Wager

This is the chapter in which Bella punches Jacob in the face after he kisses her.  The trio’s reaction to the kiss ranges from anger to smugness to concern.  Do you think any of the characters should have treated the situation differently?  Should Bella have not encouraged Jake and just walked away?  Should she have hit him harder (or kissed him back)?  Should Edward have reacted any differently?
