Chapter  20: Compromise

Selfish and Compromise strike me as opposites, and in these two chapters we definitely see their extremes!  First you have Bella asking Edward to go against his nature, which has always been to protect her.  She sees herself as selfish and even regrets the request to a certain extent.  Next comes the compromise… Bella says yes to marrying Edward!
