Stephenie: Wait! Wait, wait, wait! Do you all have your tape recorders on?
All: (Nodding and saying yes!)
Stephenie: First question, because we are going to deal with this right now, is Midnight Sun! Right? So we don’t have to…
All: (Lot’s of blabbering…)
Stephenie: I know that’s what everyone cares about. I also know that the right answer would be for me to say “Oh yah, it’s done! And it’ll be out next month!” But that’s not true. It’s also not true that I’ve got a ton of work done on it, and that’s what I’m working on. What’s true is that I’m really burned out on vampires. And, I don’t want to write it badly. So I want to wait until I’m excited about the material again, and I’m excited about Edward, and that it’s something that’s motivating. You know, when a story is keeping me up at night, and I’m waking up at 4 am in the morning and thinking ‘Yes! That is what is what should happen in this moment!’ Then that is when I can write with happiness! So, right now it feels like homework… it really does. And when things feel like homework they go very, very slowly for me. So it’s still not a “It’s not gonna happen!” I want to do it when I can do it right. You know, I have my share of human stubbornness, and I have to tell you, it’s a little bit hard when people are like “This is the only thing you can do, and it’s the only thing we care about!” And, you’re kind of like a three year old, you want to be like “I’m gonna do what I wanna do!” Yah. “You’re not the boss of me!” So my mom has backed off a little bit. Actually, I was at The Fray concert, and I was hanging out with the guys backstage. They’re really cool, and I was talking to Isaac about it. He was like, “I really want you to do that!” And I was like “Oh my gosh! Come on!” You know I can’t get away from it anywhere. And, we talked about stubbornness and reverse psychology. I have this great thing he signed for me, it says “To Stephenie, Don’t work on that stupid book! Nobody wants it anyway!” I have it by my computer. That really is the right direction to go with me, because I’m like “Huh! Maybe I should do it! I’ll show you!” Psychology! Anyway, that’s Midnight Sun! so, that should disappoint everyone!
Twilight Series Theories: I don’t think so!
Stephenie: Ok! so now we’re done! (Laughing) So, I’ll see you guys later!

Stephenie: The people I worry about are the haters. You know, that like to talk about what a horrible writer I am and all that stuff. When I do write it they’re going to say “Oh, this was worse than the first half because now she did it badly!” No matter what I do it’s going to be that way. There’s a mental block there. You know what people are going to say, so I have wait until it’s just me and the book again. Then I can feel excited about it! You know, sometimes I’ll sit and think about the car chase, that we don’t get to see from Bella’s perspective. I have that one completely mapped out in my head. That one wouldn’t be hard to get down. Stuff like that, it gets exciting. Cars. Ya know! The first car he steals I have picked out, and then the second one. It get’s messy! It’s gonna be great! You have to get excited about things! But, that’s Midnight Sun!

why are u punishing your fans? its been three years so you can’t say that you still haven’t gotten over it. what would edward say? you said it yourself he deserves to have his story told. so think about edward, and think about the entire twilight series through his point of view. reread the entire series if you have to because if that doesn’t motivate you to write again then why did you write the twilight series in the first place. forget about the haters and the fans and the movies and everything else that is going on and go back to that place in your mind that inspired you to write in the first place. and if even that doesn’t work then try to continue writing anyway because the thing about doing homework is that the hardest part is starting. you may believe that you can’t write in your current sate of mind but i am possitive that once you start ou won’t be able to stop.
I agree with u 100% i mean omg i sat up for 2 nights reading Midnight sun and i feel like i wasted time but iuderstand edward more but still i really wish she would finnish it who cares about the release it was a rouf draft it dosnt mean much. We still want to buy the book it kinda made us wanna read it more!
i couldnt enjoy reading unless i read a book that i was thoroughly excited about. twilight was the first book that i fell in love with. when i finished the series i cried because i didnt want it to be over. i reread the series several times and each time i understood more about the characters. i read the rough draft of midnight sun that is available on stephanies website and i fell in love. it added a whole new demension to the twilight story. i almost like twilight from the point of view of edward over bellas. i love these characters and their story. i would seriously die is stephanie finished midnight sun and if she rewrote the whole series in edwards point of view i would be the happiest person alive!!!!! PLEASE STEPHANIE! DO IT FOR YOUR FANS!
I agree with Bianca, Edward’s story does deserve to be told, just like Bella’s. You are a wonderful writer and don’t listen to those haters that say other wise. Finish Midnight Sun. Do whatever you can to motivate yourself to continue with the story all of your real fans know will be great.
i agree completly bianca and lauren i feel that you should still try to finish and i know the twilight fans would love it we all love you stephine. but i understand how busy life can be. 🙁
well… stepanie is amazing.. and i agree with lauren.. but only so much of it. i mean. it should be when she is excited and not when shes not… it will just be a mental bore for her and then it wont turn out good and then shel get more haters, which by the way, dont even matter and should just go away! because nobody cares for them..i mean.. i hate homework and im guessing that alot of other people do to. so why are people trying to force her to do something she doesnt want too? i think people should get over it and wait for her to be ready 🙂 it will happen someday so everyone should just CHILL!
I have to admit that I have never been a big reader, I have always been a “wait til the movie comes out” kinda girl. After watching the first movie, I found out that it was based on a book. I loved the movie so well, I decided to try the book. I ended up reading the whole series with in like a week. From the first chapter I was totally hooked. Stephanie has an uncanny way for telling the stories, and leave you wanting more. Having said all that to get to my point. I would much rather wait for her to get her inspiration back than to finish just because we want her too. So if it takes her another 5 years before she is ready to have it published, if your a true fan, you would be willing to wait for it. She said she is burned out on vampires, and if we were in her shoes, I am certain we would feel the same way.

I’m not sure if this note will ever reach you, but I have hope that maybe someday it will.
I’ve been a fan of yours for quite a long time now. In my 9th grade year of Highschool I had heard of the twilight saga, but i’d never really read it. (I wasn’t one to follow the crowd) but after MONTHS of listening to everyone’s raves I had to give in. By the time i finished reading twilight, It was like a drug had taken over me. I was in love with the book, and was in desperate need to read the second. My friend loaned me New Moon, and i stayed up all night until 6 am, and finished the whole thing. and it was the same with the third and fourth book. I’m currently in my senior year of highschool and its been about 3 years since i’ve touched the books or the movies. I still love them, but i’d just taken a break from being obsessed with them because well, there are other things in life. but recently, I watched the trailer for breaking dawn, and it made me miss the series. and i wanted to do some digging, so I went to your web page where i stumbled across Midnight Sun. being completely unaware of the illegal distribution, i ignorantly thought you may have let out a new book. But when I read your note about Midnight sun, two emotions came to me, it made me sad for you and what it must have been like to feel that betrayal and see your unfinished work online (especially when the unedited version and flaws that are natural in an unedited draft make you vulnerable for criticism) but I was extremely disappointed because every part of me wanted to read Midnight Sun. So against your wishes, I read the draft of midnight sun and instantly, I fell in love with Twilight all over again. I fell in love with Edward and wished he was real, i fell in love with the love story and how moving it was, i fell in love with the goodness of his family and the awkward town of forks. and it made me miss the series so much, i went and ordered all the books and movies to watch and read before breaking dawn comes out. and i’m writing you this note because, the draft of Midnight Sun that i read, has only 256 pages. and I dreaded coming to that last page, because i knew there would be no more to read. So i’m writing this note to you as a fan, to beg you to finish Midnight Sun, because I truly believe it will be an exceptional addition to the Series. And as one human being to another, to encourage and uplift you and let you know that your work is appreciated. even when unfinished. And the people who criticize it, can go on criticizing it. and they can move aside and let the fans enjoy the books and the amazing stories behind them. I think if you give Midnight Sun the time like i did, you’ll find yourself unexpectedly falling in love with the Twilight series all over again, like me. And then the rest of the book will come to you.

Just saying this because since you said you only realised about Midnight Sun a while after the Twilight Saga, you might not have noticed the other Twilight book called ‘The Short Second Life Of Bree Tanner’. You probably already know about this book if you went on Stephanie’s site for Midnight Sun, actually, but if you don’t, it’s about Bree, one of the newborns in Eclipse. She’s the one that surrenders to the Cullens, the one the Volturi kill after the battle.
I really want Stephanie to finish Midnight Sun! I understand why she was upset, but I really think that she’s had enough time to stew over it and be upset, (I would be upset too if it was me) and should at least try and get into the story again. How can she say she’s sick of vampires??? She can go write a couple more sequels and some prequels to The Host if she wants in that case! But she should still finish Midnight Sun, to complete the Twilight Saga. It would be really good if she wrote a Midnight Sun for each book, but I guess that’s a bit much. Please finish Midnight Sun Stephanie! I really want to read it! And so do several other millions of people!!!
hopefully stephenie you read these posts about midnight sun i am a mom of 2 and my quite time is reading your books i have read every one of them and i hate to read i also read the rough draft of midnight sun for the first time 2 months ago i knew it was there but refused to read it im sorry i had to because i love your books i understand how hurt you are. i wish you would do edwards version to all of them they would be epic espacelly breaking dawn i think thay would all be great you are great. hope you get to read these so you know how much your writing makes us fans feel.
I am a thoroughly “a-typical” fan of the Twilight Series in that I am 58 years old and a middle school English teacher. That should be the explanation as to why I love each of the books so. Any English teacher worth his/her salt enjoys reading all genre of literature to find excellent books. I have read the series 3 times now and really hope that Stephenie finishes Midnight Sun. I downloaded the PDF file when she made it available to all and have to admit that I keep re-reading it because it is a fresh perspective and superb addition to the understanding of the full story. Stephenie—-Please get your creative juices and excitement flowing again so that we all may experience Edward and Bella’s story with more depth. Thank you!!
I am a crazed Twilight fan. And it’s just so hard not knowing what goes on next. I get it that there has to be and endpoint somewhere, but I don’t think that was the right place. I feel that there is a new story now, and it has just begun; not ended. I have tried to imagine what would happen next in the stories, but I am NOWHERE as creative as Stephanie and can’t come to a conclusion. So, I hope you read this Stephanie, and think about writing more. I know it takes time, but everyone believes it will happen someday. I think that the Twilight series will be the new Romeo And Juliet and kids will be reading it in school.

I am currently 15 and in year 9. Since I was in year 6 and my older sister, who was 15 read the series, I had been wanting so much to read it. But my mum said no. Not until I was 15. Currently I am 2/3 through Eclipse. I love your books, I have fallen in love with all the characters, especially Alice and Emmett. The series is really really good. Yesterday, I was looking up your website and discovered Midnight Sun on your website. I am not going to read it. I am hoping that you will one day soon keep writing your series. It is really sucessful and completely worth the time and effort. I belive if you start it, the rest will come flowing through.
I admit that I was upset when I heard about Midnight Sun. Not just because your not finishing MIdnight Sun, but also because I was upset that your privacy has been betrayed. I am not angry with you. I am just holding onto the hope that you will one day read my message and that you will be insirped by Mercedes Espinoza post.

I always loved the twilight series. It was actually one of the very first books i read and from the very first page i was sucked into the world of twilight, of Edward and Bella and their eternal but somehow fragile love. When i started reading Midnight Sun im sure i was like a million other reader who instantly got absorbed into the story all over again and dreaded when it would end before it was finished.
I understand why Stephanie Meyer decided not to finish. It was an unforgiveable betrayal when that person leaked the draft onto the internet. They had no right.
Don’t let all those A-holes get to you with all there criticism. They are just jealous that they can’t write as well as you can, and im sure a few of them just say some mean things out of anger and frustration because the world they wish to continue to escape into has been cut off from them. But Stephanie Meyer, you DONT owe it to your fans to write Midnight Sun. It is your story and the finished product is for you. So when its finished you can shake your fist at all those rude people in the world and say “Look at what i have achieved and you haven’t!” But if you dont wish to write it anymore for a while or at all then us fans have to accept it. Fans have no right to judge the author. They are no the ones writing the story so they dont know what its like.
Though i do agree with some of the stuff said here. Like if you want to try to write it, sometimes all you have to do is sit down at your desk and read over what you have done previously in that manuscript and it can get you right back in the writing zone (ive done that before. Im in the process of writing a story myself, and sometimes i hit a road block and have to go away for a while and think on it before i can come back and write again. At first i wont really want too but then onece my hands start flying across the keyboard im back in the zone again. Though you probably shouldn’t put that much credit behind that because im still in highschool and haven’t published a book before).
Anyways i hope you read this and i hope to someday read a finished copy of Midnight Sun and have it join the rest of the books on my shelf.

twilight is the best…what I would enjoy reading is Carlisle complete story from his point of view. Imagine he evolved from over three hundred years! his story is rich in history and that’s completely fascinating to me!!!

I didn’t know it Was posted illegally and i know i would be devastated if somebody read my Books I write That i had not intended to post Until it was finished. so …sorry about that just want to say. But it is very amazing. It must have taken so much effort to write that…And get all the details from twilight to put in there. I love hearing from edward’s POV and think it may be Better than twilight! Just take you’re time with this…You’re fans will be patient and You should write it with A clear head…Like you said it’s like homework…And things like that can not be rushed. Don’t listen to haters Everybody has haters…Just take their mean comments and turn it Into something positive…something to motivate you And prove to them That what they say doesn’t matter at all. I know that you are frustrated, but I would love for you to finish Midnight Sun so that your fans could read it. After I found it, I was hooked only after reading just chapter one! I understand how hurt you must have been to have your rough draft released. I really would like to read midnight sun but I have been waiting to see if you will release it. I will wait a few more years and hope that you will finish it. I sincerely hope you get excited about the series again as I know so many fans are. I would love to see more books on edward and bella.
I dont think having the ‘rough’ version leaked is going to put people off wanting to read it – its making us want it a darn lot more! I totally agree though that Stephanie needs to be excited about it again or it could change the waywe all think abou the story in general. All Twilight Saga fans will buy the book – because they’re huge fans – especially those who have started reading it (I havent). PLEASE STEPHANIE – get excited about it soo! 😉
I went on Stephanie Meyer’s website and read about Midnight Sun, but I never read the draft she posted. I choose to wait until she finishes the book. To wait will only make it better. I have read all the other books so often that they have started to fall apart. I own all the books including the graphic novel vol 1 and i plan on getting vol 2
I am starting to get the impression she never had any intention of finishing midnight sun, what better way to get out of it than fake a leak and then use that as an excuse to not finish the series. What is sad about it is she is letting the fans down and giving the critics and haters exactly what they want, but hey when you have already made millions off the back of the 4 completed books and the millions of fans who needs to worry about the fans.
I completely agree with what everyone is saying. It’s been three years. It’s starting to get ridiculous. I can honestly say I have been researching Midnight Sun every day since it came out to see if there’s been a change, if she suddenly said she’s going to finish it. It’s truly disappointing to me to find out that she hasn’t gotten over it, and that she hasn’t even BEGUN writing it again. You don’t get motivated on your own, you motivate yourself. The fact that she hasn’t done that yet makes me wonder if she really plans on doing it again, which I think she has no intention of doing. She teased us with the release of the first half. I know she didn’t do it on purpose, but it was done. I personally think she’s a fantastic writer. She’s reduced me to begging. Please Stephanie, if you can’t do it for the fans, do it for yourself. Regain your dignity, because I think it got lost sometime in those 3 years.

The Twilight Series is a beautiful love story, and of course every one’s fantasy of the perfect love. I think I can say this on behalf of everyone when it comes to Midnight Sun, we simply just dont want the love story to end….. Twilight will be talked about for many many years and I think when the timing is right Mdnight Sun will be released and will relight our passion for Edward and Bella… I think that will be a gift from Stephanie Meyer.

Hope you get the strength and realize the love and admiration of your fans, which will overcome your fears. Common now, its been three years… and trust me, its never gonna get out of my head. You are that good! We don’t care what others think of your work, cz we know what YOU have!

Hey, Please. Just think. Its been nearly 4 years since the leak. Every one has waited so long for Midnight Sun to come out. Ever since you posted on your Website the first 12 Chapters to the book, I had been waiting, not wanting to spoil it for myself. I’ve waited 2 years to try and avoid going onto your website and reading it. I’ve been putting it off since, read the twilight series twice now, and im a couple of pages into Eclipse nearly ready to finish it for the third time. Alot of us need something new to read ! It’s not like I’m getting sick of the books, They are extremly wonderful and you did a great job. But there are many people out there that need something new of yours to read. I just want to let you know your letting me down, and many millions of others too.
I’m pretty sure you have an all-time favorite book of yours, one that you would have wanted to keep going. There you go? You should understand now.

All i can say is your work is truly amazing you have inspired alot of people with the twilight books i think you need to remember where your inspiration came from in the first place. Are we anxious to read midnight sun of course but you need to get your motivation back otherwise like it has been said it might not be as good as you would like, if i lose inspiration or motivation on anything i find it good to put that project aside take a break and mabie work on something else and then come back to it, i truly hope you find the inspiration you need to finish as you dont owe it to us fans you owe it to yourself to show the haters and whomever leaked midnight sun that you can come back with a bang and make it better that anyone ever expected your fans believe you can do it i just hope you believe you can aswell.

First I would like to thank you for creating such of wonderful anfd fantastic novels. I just turned 40 yrs old 2 weeks ago. In 2008 my now 20yr old daughter beged me to buy her the “Twilght” book. Then when the movie came out, she beged me again to take her tp the movies. I am NOT a reader so I had no interest in reading the book, Almost 3 years ago, my co-workers were talking about the movie and the books so I decided to watch the movie. I liked it and founded intriguing. I borrowed the first book from my daugher and it CHANGED MY WORLD!! Once I started reading I COULD NOT STOP!!. I became a fan!. Since then I have read the whole 4 books, including the short version of Midnight Sun 4 times.
I LOVE THEM!! Like Edward said in Twilight, ” it is like my own personal brand of heroin” I am addicted to the Twilight series. I can’t wait to read Edward’s version of the story. THANK YOU FOR GIVING MOMS (LIKE ME) AN EXCITING WAY TO ESCAPE FROM TIME TO TIME THE MONOTONIC LIFES THAT WE SOMETIMES LIVE!!

you are such an amazing wrighter. I honestly was not a fan of reading until twilight and now I read like crazy. Your books sparked my love for reading. I completely agree that doing things on your own time is the way to go. Im so excited that you have decided to continue with Midnight Sun. It is going to be amazing. Well, I haven’t read the leaked book and I won’t be reading it. Of course I love all of Stephanie’s books I’m quite a fan. So I can truly understand how she feels here. If she decides to wright the book then I’ll read it, but if she doesn’t I’ll happily avoid tempting myself.
I feel, that you should do whatever you want, but i would also like to say, you should totally write a book from Jacob’s perspective or an alternate ending where Bella ends up with Jacob, cause Jacob is a boss, and your Jacob chapters in Breaking Dawn were the most amazing things I have ever read. But, You should do that when you are ready to. I think you are an amazing writer, and anybody who thinks different get go die somewhere and leave you alone.

I’ve been reading since I was 5 years old [I’ll be 60 next year]. When I started, Enid Blyton’s “Famous Five” and “Secret Seven” were the most exciting books around and I read them over and over. Like you, I love Science Fiction – I discovered Asimov when I was 13 [that took me into another world] but I can honestly say, that no other Author has moved me the way you have. Your descriptives are amazing. I just cannot believe that 4 books by one Author could be so addictive [I’ve lost count of the times I’ve re-read them] and I would have read thousands of books in my time [all genres].
Most people are begging you to finish Midnight Sun [we’re all addicts after all]. I often wondered why Rob Pattinson played Edward as he did in the movies, until I read that he had a draft copy of Midnight Sun – Edwards perspective is soooo different to Bella’s [ie. a females point of view]. From one female to another- your concept of Edwards thoughts and turmoil is illuminating.
Personally, I feel Jacob’s perspective in New Moon and Eclipse would be fascinating. His POV in Breaking Dawn is the highlight in that book for me. Of course, he and Renesmee…….the possibilities are amazing.
God bless you for all the breathtaking and emotional moments you’ve given us in this Saga. I truly feel sorry for those who, [in basic terminolgy] “don’t get it”.
I wish I had a boyfriend that sparkled. I nearly started crying because midnigght sun wasnt published. It may seem sad that a big fat jerk leaked it on the internet Stephenie but its not the end of the world. I dream about Alice Cullen most nights and I have read the whole saga including the short second life of Bree Tanner several times. Please Stephenie think of us,about your fans.. its not us you have to punish its the person that leaked it. Its 3 years since its happened now so i suggest move on with life and finish Midnight Sun and forget about the whole Twilight Saga. I really wanted to read the Midnight Sun online but I though think about Meyer.
Before The Twilight Saga i couldn’t get through reading a book because i got bored, but once i heard that The Twilight Saga came out i borrowed the books from my sister in law and couldn’t put them down, i had all four finished in 4 days…. now i’m still dying for more… so i hope that Midnight Sun does come out soon so i have another book to stick my nose in for a couple days. and i hope you don’t keep punishing your fans for someone leaking the unfinished copy.
How can you say you are sick of Vampires! If it weren’t for those vampires you wouldn’t be the known author that you are today. I agree with alot of the other fans that you are coming close to losing, It has been long enough to get over the hurt and hate that you feel about the unfinished book being leaked. I am a BIG fan of the series but very disappointed that you haven’t finished it yet. Im afraid you are going to wait too long and the fans would have lost interest in it all together. You should listen to your mom and your true fans and finish it already !
HI Stephenie I recently watched twilight movies and found them sooooo interesting that i bought all twilight books, i finished breaking dawn two days ago and it was so good that by the time i finished it i wanted more. twilight cannot end with breaking dawn there’s so much left still unexplained, and when i went to your website to find out if there is any other book coming after breaking dawn i was SO SURPRISED to find midnight sun and SHOCKED to find out that almost half the book was leaked, like others i couldn’t resist the temptation and i read the midnight sun from your website which you have made available to you fans after reading the few chapters of midnight sun i can say you 100% that its so much better than twilight and i loved EDWARD POV so much information when he do the mind reading and lets you truly understand other characters for example i didn’t paid much attention to Jessica character in twilight but i was surprised when EDWARD mind reading explored so much more and i was so interested to see ALICE wanted to meet BELLA so much. i really think you should give it one try to finish the midnight sun.
You wrote twilight from the POV of BELLA which is great and i’m sure all girls, women loved her POV but guys want to know from EDWARD POV too, Like your other millions fans i am truly sad that you thought you couldn’t continue due to other people criticism but IF YOU READ MIDNIGHT SUN AGAIN I CAN GUARANTEE YOU WILL FIND YOUR LOST EXCITEMENT AGAIN. EDWARDS POV IS VITAL AND HIS POV DESERVED TO BE TOLD. PLEASE FINISH THE MIDNIGHT SUN AND IF YOU CAN PLEASE CONTINUE THE STORY AFTER BREAKING DAWN. THERE ARE ONLY A BUNCH OF HEATERS BUT THERE ARE MILLIONS OF FANS WANTED TO READ THE STORY… PLEASE FINISH THE STORY FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR FANS.
I totally agree with Zaid you should finish Midnight Sun and also continue the story after Breaking Dawn. After I finished reading Breaking Dawn I was craving to read more! Also it would be a very good edition to the Twilight Saga if you finished Midnight Sun.

i can`´t belive you all! Mrs meyer is not a macine who do as you want! she`s human being and you should try to but your selves in her shoes.
If someone you trusted do something like that to you what that person did to mrs meyer. leaking somethin what was mrs meyers passion to write twilight saga and someone destroyed that passion and her trust. i can`t belive you can be so selfish.
I know how it feels to loose something and been robbed by someone and it dosen`t feel good. and this much i can tell you what someone stoled from me, somethig like what rosalie`s life happend before she was transformed into vampire.
i was raped too but only diference is that i was 10years old when that happend. so i can imagine how mrs meyer feels and you only care about is midnight sun.
and you mrs meyer its always your decisson what you are going to do with midnight sun and if you can`t do it i understand. what happend to you was unmoral and cruel so i pray for you and i have enjoyed all of the books of twilight.
and to you all your pressure on her dosen`t help so give mrs meyer a litle space and time and afterall it`s hers decisson what she is going to do because twilight saga is her`s story so she is te one who decide what she is going to do with midnight sun.
I think that its ok if you postpone finishing the book. I read on your website what you have done all ready and when you come out with the finished product it’ll only make me more excited to buy the book. I don’t know if you thought about this or not but for a new idea for a book after breaking dawn how about you write a book from renesme’s point of veiw? One where she explains how her life is as a half vamp. and as a child who doesn’t grow like others and how it feels, and then also how the relationship with jacob will be. Whether she’ll grow up wanting him to be her play brother, bestfriend, boyfriend or nothing at all. Also I know the volturi are going to try and come back and take another shot at the cullens. Aro is going to want renesme because her gift is so unique. I’m not trying to tell you what to do or put any pressure on you but this saga could have so much more added on to it. Just think about it.

I read all of the Twilight Books in one week, prior to seeing any movies. I found all of them to be gripping and addicting. We may all have a Favorite, that goes not mean you are not a good writer. I have always read Vampire books and found yours to have so many wonderful twists….and the romance. I read Midnight Sun in 2009 the first Chapter and now just finished all eleven chapters. I thinks you owe it to all of your loyal fans to Finish the book. We made them famous, we bought them and saw movies and bought DVDs. Don’t let some Hackers ruin it for the rest of us, it’s a wonderful story, I love it , maybe the most. Thank you, Lisa

I am proberly one of the oldest fans. I have studied this series. Read the books numerous times. Saw all the movies many times. Played all the games. Bought the products, tshirts, etc. Thought of the many different ways Stephenie could continue the saga. Listened to the books on cd. Searched the web for more info. I’m a business woman as well and bottom line is…she’s not going to finish Midnight Sun…she IS on Forbes richest list (we put her there). She is done with all of us. The only way she will ever complete the book is if she spends all of her fortune and needs money again which will proberly never happen. I have become very disappointed in her loyalty to her fans and quite frankly, its disheartening. I will go see Breaking Dawn but I must admit, I’m not nearly excited as I thought I’d be. The distance between Eclipse and this one gives a person time to redirect priorities. Shame on you Stephenie!
I’ve grown up being fascinated by vampires and mystic creatures. I’ve always had fantasies about vampires being real. like finding my true love vampire and he takes me away so i wouldn’t have to be sad or alone any longer. so when i first heard about the twilight saga i was instantly hooked and I’ve been a fan ever since. I thought i was alone with all my vampire fantasies and i thought i was crazy but now i know I’m not alone and i thank you for that. My mom and my boyfriend thinks I’m crazy cause i read your books over and over again and never grow tired of it, it just continues to fascinate me. When i heard about midnight sun being leaked out i was so mad that someone had done that to you and your fans. i just couldn’t believe it; i did read it though, i couldn’t help myself and it was so amazing even though it was unfinished. I very much understand why your having such a hard time finishing it and I’ll continue to wait as long as it takes. Takes as long as you have to, your fans will always be here and we love you no matter what. 🙂

I started reading twilight when I just turned 9 years old and its been nearly 4-5 yr s since that day and it really educated me and by the time I was 10 I had read every book from the twilight series that there was at the time about 3 times over as of because twilight has encouraged me to read other books but I always felt as I was reading other books that I never found them as enjoyable as the twilight series and Stephanie boy am I so happy 1 day it popped up in Ur head the idea of twilightxox <3 ever since that day ive never ever stopped reading or thinking about twilight and I saved and all as most twilight fans to buy the short second life of bree tanner which was amazing!! xo<3 and I heard that you were writing or releasing ( I didn't really know ) and I'm quite a bit away from a book shop and at the time my computer had gone A-WALL
and broke down PERMANENTLY!… so I couldn't research so I started saving and when I raised 20 i went to buy this book that I thought was out and I looked and looked and I asked the shop keeper and then she told me the whole story of illegal posting and all and showed me Steph-meyer site online I was sooo angry that som1 had done this and this had caused her to decide that she didnt realli feel like writing it any more i do think she will write it some day.. hopefully but Stephanie if i wer you i wud think of how many fans i had and not how many haters and use this support and also that all these fans had practically dedicated their life to twilight and made you soo famous with their support do they not deserve this book to be written
