Hodge-Podge Week #84
Oct 25th, 2010 | By Kallieross | Category: Fandom, Featured Articles, Movie News, Podcasts, Site NewsThis week is a mix of discussions that Kassie and I have had over the past month-and-a-half! We have both had some crazy schedules lately and hope to do more podcasting soon! The show includes a discussion about the latest casting for Breaking Dawn, as well as an interview with our latest Fan of the Month! And, don’t forget the outakes! The TST Book of the Month is Nightshade, by Andrea Cremer, and our music this week is Gonna Be A Star, by Hey Hey Yeah Yeah You.
Ugh, how I hate my voice! 😛
But thank you for having me on the show! It was fun. (If you were wondering, my family and I just got back from two days in Disneyland, and a day in Hollywood which ended with our seeing The Phantom of the Opera) 😀
I listened today, and I have a suggestion or two for filming Renesme. Forced perception, it’s a on set camera trick (watch extened editions of LOTR docs for a far better explaination. They could use a smaller person for futher away and use the actress for the close-ups. Also, they could have the actress dressed in a green outfit and seperately film her against a green screen and composite her smaller.
That’s an idea. I don’t know if you’ve heard or not, but Summit had said that they were planning on digitally “transplanting” Foy’s face onto a smaller body, a la Benjamin Button. I don’t think they clarified whether that “smaller body” would be an actual child’s or a CGI body. Either way I don’t like the way that sounds
I’m just getting to this…so good to hear you guys!! And I’m going to pick up that Nightshade by Andrea Cremer book. I have to know what you’re talking about!
