Hey everybody, shake off those beginning of the week blues ’cause we got Twinews! *badump chhhh* Okay, so some of you probably heard that the producers of last night’s Oscars show had promised us Twihards a Twilight event that would be “mind-blowing”.  Cue antsy anticipation.  After Summit let us know that none of the Twilight cast would be there, nor would there be any Breaking Dawn footage shown, I started to realize that we might be on the verge of being bamboozled by the Oscar producers.  You’re about to see the ridiculously hyped Twilight event that lasted all of about 20 seconds.  I will admit to literally LOL-ing while watching this, so I can’t be as frustrated with them as I’d like to be, but it was not “mind-blowing”.  Note to Hollywood people trying to gain viewership and loyalty from Twihards, or fans of any genre-film:  you want us to like what you’re making?  Don’t over-hype it, okay?  Otherwise we become wary of your tricksy ways and we begin to exhibit signs of stubbornness in the form of never listening to you again when you say you’ve got something Twi-related up your sleeve.
