Jake Abel Lands Role Of Ian In ‘The Host’

According to Deadline, actor Jake Abel has landed the role of Ian in Stephenie Meyer’s The Host. You may have previously seen Jake in The Lovely Bones, I Am Number Four, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Check out his full resume over at IMDB!
The role of Jared is still up for grabs, but Max Irons, Liam Hemsworth, Kit Harington and Jai Courtney are all in the running.
I loved this book. I’m so excited that they are going to make it a movie.
Jake Abel? Hmmm. I don’t like him. His acting is very… noticeable.
I don’t know. Maybe once they dye his hair. Honestly he is kinda cute but he’s not uber hot like I pictured Ian. I think Chris Pine would make a good Jared Howe. And aside from the guys for Wanderer I think Christina Green would be a good choice. You should check out her FB fan page =)
