American singer-songwriter Mindy Smith is the featured artist of the month for June, 2009.  Raised on Long Island, Mindy made the move to Nashville in the mid ’90s to pursue a career in music.  Her wide-ranging musical style has been classified as country, folk, bluegrass, pop, and rock.  The featured song of the month is “One Moment More,” a single off her 2004 debut album of the same name.  This song was chosen because it can easily relate to Bella’s emotions after Edward leaves her in New Moon 🙁 Other stand-out songs from Mindy Smith include “Out Loud,” “Long Island Shores,” and “Come to Jesus.”
