  1. Gabby says:

I like super Bella because ive been waiting for her to be a vampire since Twilight but it just isnt the same as her being human we all got used to simple Bella and know we have to adjust to her completly flawless and not much like her original self.

  2. Laura says:

I like simple Bella better because everyone can relate to her. She is also hilliariuos as a human and not so much as a vampire. I loved her clumsiliness and especially when see broke her hand on Jacob’s face!

  3. Jessica says:

I think I’m torn between the two Bellas. When I initially started reading the series over the summer, I loved reading about this clumbsy, somewhat brash, average girl. I found this character very relatable and enjoyed reading about her finding her true love. I also wanted her to be turned into a vampire so that she could be with Edward forever (and, not to mention, immortality and super strength were awesome bonuses!) So I was excited that she finally became a vampire, however not too thrilled in how the process played out; her having to painfully fight her way through child/vampire birth and the only way for her survival was to become a vampire (very epic). However, after she was changed, I found it harder to relate to her character. She was now graceful, gorgeous and in pretty much everyway, perfect. But I guess that’s what happens when you jump into the supernatural. So I guess I can’t fully decide, I mean, Bella will always be one of my favorites, it’s just hard to choose if I prefer this character with her quirky human qualities or her awesome vampire skills. Either way, I LOVE this saga and will always be a fan!

  4. Kassidy (alice) says:

I LOVED her clumsyness and how she described how edward kissed her… it was more sweet!!
So I liked the old Bella more

  5. Giul says:

I like the simple Bella better. She is more fragile, and clumsy. and I like it how she blushes all the time. These things make her who she is. And it is easier for girls reading the books to put themselves in her oh so envied shoes when she is human because she is just like us. And when she turns into as vampire she doesnt have brown eyes!!! *sigh* oh well. Bella being in danger all the time makes her human. I miss it.

  6. Jaci says:

I prefer “simple Bella.” Here is my own personal take: I am an avid reader, and there are very, very few books I read where I feel myself in the heroine’s place. Usually in movies and books, I see myself as “Lauren” character – the seldom-seen yet relied-upon best friend. Twilight was the first book I have read in a very long time where I immediately felt a connection to the heroine, simple Bella. When she becomes a vampire, while it was great to see her be proactive and powerful in a supernatural way, on some level, I felt like we lost a bit of Bella, and my tie to her is not as strong. When Bella becomes Super Bella, she loses her vulnerability in every sense of the word. That vulnerability is part of what made her who she was, the part of her that only Edward really saw in her. So, I am a Simple Bella. I didn’t really want Bella to become a vampire, which is like heresy, I know. But I was really hoping Edward would find a way to sort of humanize himself again, or that they would be able to keep her human self and still keep her relationship with Edward.

  7. Christine says:

I think that BOTH Bellas were wonderful. I can’t decide between the two because I know that change is inevitable, though Bella did change quite quickly. I think that both of the Bellas were supposed to be enjoyed on their own time, because everything is beautiful in its own time. And even though the young Bella had to grow up, she is still in our hearts when we see the new Bella. Only this time, she’s a devastatingly, inhumanly beautiful mom. lol

  8. Git 'r Done! (Amy) says:

I think the biggest difference between Human Bella (HB) and Vampire Bella (VB) is her transition from the damsel in the distress to the empowered rescuer. We could use all our fingers and toes counting the times Bella had to be saved (mostly by Jacob or Edward) in Twilight, New Moon, Eclispe, and the first half of Breaking Dawn. However, in her second book in Breaking Dawn she becomes the only one who can save the Cullens because Edward can’t read her mind. Also, her shield strength traning was invaluable as she not only saved her family but also all the witnesses during the “battle” with the Volturri. It’s like she really was born to be a vampire. I like soft and easily destructible HB because I can relate to that condition, but VB has everything she ever wanted: strength, physical prowess (bye bye, klutz!), even more intelligence, and her human family (Charlie, anyway) and her wonderful new vampire family. In conclusion, VB is the winner because she is ULTIMATE Bella.

  9. Megan Q. says:

I think I’m a little more partial to vampire Bella. After awhile her tripping all the time and getting hurt was becoming slightly annoying, especially her not believing how beautiful she was. After her change not only was she just as graceful as the Cullen’s, but she was also just as beautiful and she finally got to see that. Everything that seemed so ordinary about her before was finally being seen as extraordinary and special.

Bella also got to let loose and just have fun for once, like when she was crushing the boulder after arm wrestling Emmett. It’s like once she became a vampire everything in her life just clicked into place. It’s just as she said at the end of the chapter called Shiny, “It’s like I was born to become a vampire.” She truly was. Her humanity is drew Edward to her, but becoming a vampire is what she was meant for.

  10. Amy says:

I prefer simple Bella, mainly because we just knew her more, and she was more human, so we could relate to her. When she’s turned, she’s a totally different person, all ‘ZAP! I’m a super vampire! Can’t hurt me!’ and yeah it was intresting, but we barely knew her. With normal Bella, she was a more rounded person, and she knew who she was. She was just like us, except, you know, with a sexy vampire. And she was human, and so we could totally understand her more, at least we could most of the time. πŸ™‚

  11. Rachel says:

I like Simple Bella better.Mostly becaus everyone can relate to her. When Bella becomes a VAMP. she kinda loses her apeal to me as a reader. Everything around her becomes so serious. she never has a fun bubbly personality and that kinda lets me down. not saying that she n ever had one but still… LOVE SIMPLE BELLA BETTER!!!

    Love The Podcast

  12. Lindsey says:

I liked simple human Bella the best, but I also liked her as Super Bella too. I could see some part of myself in Simple Bella, she represented a lot of young girls out there and we could relate to her in some ways. She is however a little more obsessive and hasty than i am but all the same, I loved reading about her and the things she goes through. Super Bella becomes basically “perfect” i guess you could say. She’s not self conscious anymore, shes definitely not clumsy and she is completely happy that finally she is what shes aimed to become all along. I loved seeing her this way, I mean I know I would’ve been disappointed if I hadnt been able to read how she was as a vampire and I expected her to lose some of her relatability seeing as I cant exactly zoom away at great speeds and have super strength or whatever but still. I liked super Bella in the sense that I liked that the character got what she wanted and i like to see characters happy.
And also I believe we are all partial to the human Bella because we are human and we had human Bella perspective for the majority of the series and its kinda hard to get used to a different perspective when you’re used to a certain characters view of things because its how we would percieve things as well.
But overall Bella will always be that character that we fell in love with at heart. At least that never changed, how she loves the people that are in her life and she wanted to become strong enough to protect them, I loved that about her! well and to be with Edward for eternity as well but we cant blame her for that!

  13. Amanda says:

i loved that bella was finally turned into a vampire, that made me happy.
but what i realized was how signifiant bella’s humanity was to edward’s…..vampiranity (lol new word)
because every kiss and touch isnt the same(or it just wasnt described the same)
i am in no way disapointed by any part of the book but it just really hit me how edward’s vamp characteristics were near and dear to me. it made him stand out from all the other lame human guys in the book.
its really amazing though, to FINALLY see what it is to be a vampire. the enhanced sight, touch, smell, and the SPEED! the way it was described, i felt like i was going through it myself.
but i still feel like i can relate to bella because, despite these improvments on her balence, she’s still bella personality-wise. and that was what i related to in the beginning.
so kudos to SM for being a beast at writing.

  14. The REAL Mrs. Edward Cullen says:

I like her. The only thing was that I felt that I didn’t know the relationship between her and Edward anymore. It felt like I was introduced to 2 new characters… Which I had foreseen because they have a different interaction now. I liked her new confidence and all. I understood about the motherhood thing, but at times it got a wee bit over the top annoying.

  15. Courtney says:

I definatly like the new bella because of Edward, and the rest ofthe cullens. I’ts not hard for any of the cullens to be around her now espessialy Edward. Reneseme, Bella and Edward (and Jacob = [) will all be one happy family. Edward wont be so careful, because he will not need to, which makes me sad after reading Midnight sun. And bella is just plain awsome with her powers and everything!

  16. Amber says:

i deffinetly love the new Bella but there are some things that i miss like the way she decribes Edward when she was human was so different because she decribes him as rock hard and cold and then u have to look at him this whole different way once she becomes a vampire because now he is no longer cold and it just feels normal to her.

  17. Lexie123220 says:

i kind of miss the way bella gets saved by edward as a human but i also like how she can experience more as a vampire.
So really, either way is good for me. πŸ™‚

  18. Alice says:

Clumsy old high school Bella all the way. That’s how I got to know and love her. Once she became a married super-human mother I just lost the point. She wasn’t someone I could relate to and her old characteristics seemed to disappear, leaving me confused. I don’t hink I enjoyed Breaking Dawn as much because I couldn’t get used to Bella and how people reacted to her now.

  19. Wendy says:

I choose not to pick one or the other!!
I loved the human Bella. I think the reason why most people fell in love with her is the fact they can relate to her, at least in some way, or they know some one just like her. Feeling uncomfortable in your own self is not an uncommon feeling to most people. It makes it easy to connect with Bella and understand how she is feeling. Wishing you were more athletic, more artistic or, in Bellas case, more graceful is part of being the imperfect humans that we all are.
But who wouldn’t want to have Super Powers!?!?! The incredible feeling of leaping over a river, of running at warp speed, of being so strong YOU could stop a car dead in it’s tracks. The abilty to ….sparkle??
The old Bella represents humanity and so many aspects of it that most people live and struggle with at some point in their life. The new Bella gets everything she ever wanted….and more, removing the parts of her humanity that she never liked.
To me they are two different characters, not one who just happend to be turned in to a vampire. I like them both for the qualities they each possess.

  20. anna rose says:

i really miss the old bella. i loved reading about her character because she was so easy to relate to. all of her awkwardness was usually a great source of comic relief in the book. even though i might have like the old bella better, for her sake, i think she is better off as a vampire. in breaking dawn, it even talks about how she feels like she had been born to be immortal her whole life, and that she really always belonged in the vampire world. i love the contrast though in breaking dawn from her clumsy human self who had never been anything special in the first half of the book to the “new born” bella who was incredibly beautiful and graceful.

  21. layna cullen says:

I love both Bella’s. I love simple Bella because she was so easy to relate to and a really good-hearted girl whose life was changed so drastically. But, I love vampire Bella also. I was really happy that being a vampire suited Bella well and nothing was messed up in her transformation. I was glad that she finally felt like she fit in somewhere. She could be comfortable with herself and feel less inadequate to Edward.

  22. sou says:

I like super bella, I too, have been wanting and wait for Bella to be come all vamped out. But i really think she should have kept some of her “simple bellaness.” I didn’t like the drastic change, it was so hard to get used to.

  23. courtneytoxic says:

    i like super bella,
if she hadnt became a vampire
the love story wouldnt have been the same
it would have ment she lived edwards “option 4”
i dont think that would have worked for the book
and we know she couldnt have eneded up with jacob because he wasnt imprinted to her
if she didnt have the baby he would have been inprinted to some one else
it just had to happen like that for the story to work
i love her as a vamp its like she was ment to be one the whole time
he ability to keep edward out of her mind as well as the voultori*sp*
    it has to happen
i can not wait for the movie!!!!
    or “midnight sun”

  24. McKell says:

Okay this is where Breaking Dawn… broke for me. Let me explain though πŸ™‚ We have been waiting so long for this moment, but when Bella woke up from her “transformation” she wasn’t the same, and i just couldn’t get used to it. I guess i miss the tension of impossible love, but when it was possible it just didn’t get me here, however, i loved seeing Bella as a mother, I just didn’t like Bella and Edward together as much, though i found it so funny to see her be stronger than Edward. So i guess I’m mixed. I kinda hoped there would be more of a twist. Great podcast this week!

  25. Kendra says:

Not to be a downer, but I don’t like either Bella’s, although I would have to say I like simple bella more. The human Bella has HUMAN feelings and the vampire bella made me depressed. Just the whole story, Breaking Dawn alltogether, made me depressed, not because it was over, but because of the events and the characters. I love S. Meyer, but i am one of those people who honestly did not like BD. I love the rest of the books though =]

  26. Tiffany C. says:

Personally, I must say that I prefer the old, high-school, clumsy, blushing Bella to this new strong, beautiful Bella. The new one kinda makes me angry. Its like she, herself has changed, and no longer has the same mind set. Sure, I know that being a vampire is going to change everything, and i know that she’s still madly in love with Edward, and i know that she had Renesmee, and all those things are going to mature her a heck of a lot more, but still. She really makes me angry. I liked Breaking Dawn, and Stephenie Meyer is still my idol, but this ruined Bella for me.

Throughout the books, Bella has always had to be the mature one…her mother tells her she was born middle-aged and keeps moving farther in that direction, but that was her maturity. She’s still a teenager, and she still had the mind set of a teenager, even before she was changed, or found out she was pregnant. Once all that happens, suddenly Bella wasn’t 18 anymore…she was like 28 or something like that. All teenage pretenses were gone and suddenly Bella was no more. Changing into a vampire just heightened that idea that Bella was now grown up and she had to mature so much faster than most people. That fact annoyed me as well.

I still love Bella, she’s an amazing character, and she makes the book what it is…i mean, c’mon. It would be soo lame if Bella would’ve died in New Moon…sure, that would have been amazing for all us Edward-lovers (you know you wanted it to happen!) but then we wouldnt’ have Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. We wouldn’t have this amazing saga. And that would make the world a much darker place. However, I really wish that Stephenie (I love you, Stephenie! Don’t take this the wrong way!) but i wish that she would have kept at least a little bit of the old Bella’s personality in the new Bella…besides that fact that she hate gifts of any kinds. Oh, and the biggest factor of all, the head-over-heels-madly-in-love-with-Edward thing…thats just a given and if that were to have changed, then it would be a massacre for all to see! haha.

Okay, so i don’t really think i made much sense in this response…sorry. I’ll stop rambling now…Love the podcast! can’t wait for more!!!! xD

  27. Daniela says:

Human Bella was responsible, magnet for trouble, funny and I liker very much but as we know people changes as they grow up, so because she is never going to reach maturity(she’ll always be 18) I think Inmortal Bella show us how she would had been at let’s say 27 or 30 years of age.
So Inmortal Bella is my favorite because during all the books I always wonder how It will be being a vampire.
I got to see the Cullen’s world. It was fantastic pretending to be a vampire too.
SO I LIKE INMORTAL BELLA. But at the end Bella will always be Bella.

  28. mauraalovestwilight says:

welll, personally i liked bella more as a human…personality wise.dont get me wrong i totally still loveee bella but, shes not the klutzy, carcastic self anymore…i felt that way in the beginning of the book to.she wasnt as relateable.its really hard to say this because i really am kinda confused on what happend.i just didnt get that feeling that i did when i was reading the other books.i missed the thoughts she had about edward and the thought of their impossible love.just her whole thought process was wrong and everything abotu was just different.i dont know.i like the new bella but i loved the old bella and miss her.anyways on a lighter note…you guys have an ah-mazing podcast and i love it!oh and i thought lindseys song on the end of the”happily ever after”podcast was halarious!!!thanx again for being awsome ;)~
    mauraaaa

  29. Halley says:

I’ve skimmed through all the above comments so if I repeat similar ideas: sorry.

My immediate reaction is Vampire Bella because we’ve been waiting for that change since the beginning of the series and it means a happy ending for our favorite characters. Also, I see her particular power–her shield–being the most important thread throughout the entire series. Rereading the books, I see Stephanie setting it up so clearly and it is the strongest tie between Human Bella and Vampire Bella. Her mind has always set her apart and that is still the case now. And now that we’re finally able to learn more about the vampire world, I’m glad its with Bella.
But at the same time, I understand why people miss the ‘old’ Bella. Some people might see the change in her personality as being related to Bella’s vampire change because she’s suddenly graceful and strong, but I see it much more as a result of her pregnancy…I lost Bella the most while she was a human, still pregnant, during Jacob’s Book. Her priorities at this point in the book have completely changed. And this is understandable to a degree I suppose; I’ve never been pregnant so I can’t speak from experience but its impossible for Bella to worry about because now she’s responsible for the life of her child. So its funny, I wanted Bella to change so badly but now I’m left wondering what that change would have been like if she hadn’t had to deal with both motherhood and vampirism at the same time. Maybe fans wouldn’t have felt that loss for human Bella if her growth had been a little more gradual.
But either way her power is the coolest!

  30. Camille says:

Although the human Bella was characterized better, I preferred immortal Bella. I felt like finally she was no longer shy, awkward, and guilty. She also did not feel she was not good enough for Edward anymore, she finally felt worthy of him (even though she was all along), and she finally fit into her own skin. It seems that she was meant to be a vampire, not a human. Lastly, she was so much more confident and strong. She did not always need Edward’s assistance, and was more independent. The very feminist side of me appreciated this a lot.

  31. Amanda H. says:

From the beginning of the series I couldn’t wait for Bella to turn into a vampire. However, once the transformation took place I found that I didn’t enjoy the book quite as much as I had before her transformation. I think the Bella that I grew to love was the one that most people could relate to. She was clumsy and so humanly un-perfect. Once she became a vampire it was very hard to relate to her and her “godly” ways. While she still had some of her pre-vampire characteristics, I didn’t find her quite as endearing as I previously had. I’m glad that she ended up as a vampire in the end, but I did feel like I lost a connection to her character.

  32. Morgan says:

I liked the old clumsy Bella better.
Even though it was what most of us wanted, that she turned into a vampire, and it was a good read to know she was stronger than Edward etc, I still prefer the whole high school thing of her being clumsy, hating blood, Mike following her around and having friends.

  33. Abby R. says:

I would have to say I prefer the Super-Bella!!!! I was amazed when she became the new vampire – perfect timing – in my opinion. But there is the fact of her confidence. It blossomed into something that wasn’t too ego-ey. ( My new word? ) Many people can say they can relate to the normal Bella, but personally, it was time for Bella to change. What kind of series would it be to have the same old boring person forever? It opened so many doors for the series. I couldn’t imagine reading a fifth book from the same perspective. It’s weird how though when re-reading Twilight and then comparing it to Breaking Dawn, you realize how much Bella’s personality has changed. And now as a new vampire, I think now she can be comfortable in her own skin. I think for her, she was meant to be a vampire ever since that day she met Edward.

  34. liz says:

im torn between the two! i dont think i can pick because there are certin things i like about each of them which is not always in each other but i cant really pick but i guess if i had to i would pick bella as a vampire!

  35. KK says:

I Have To Decide? She’s Still Bella.

Simple Bella is cute, funny and has a certain appealing normalcy even though her world is full oft mythical creatures. She does need to reorganize her priorities a little bit, like say, um, breathing, and needs more confidence. SUPER Bella, lets face it, is a lot cooler, though a little weirder. She’s what we’ve been waiting for, and has vampire abilities, but she was a little too quick to adjust to vampire life, I think.

    Simple Bella
This is the Bella we all knew and loved. (Some times not so much, she can be rather annoying.) What appealed to me right away about Bella is how, excluding the vampires, she has a rather normal life. She’s clumsy, making her a damsel-in-distress, but she always makes her own choices and is also very smart. She doesn’t understand her own appeal, and all her infatuated followers make her entertainingly angry. She trys (trys is the operative word there) to do the right thing, but her aversion to hurting anyones feelings confuses things and just makes them 100 times worse. She’s also extremely lucky, Edward can’t read her mind, which saves her life and things always work out for her.

    SUPER Bella
Super Bella is just super. She’s a vampire, which we been waiting for FOREVER! but she doesn’t seem like Bella anymore. Everything that happened was predicable, sounding exactly like the kind of fan fictions I was trying to avoid before Breaking Dawn came out, but it could have been a lot worse. She already started looking down on humans, not jut as food, but as beings with inferior intellect, almost RIGHT after she became a vampire. She’s more calculating and (I guess this will sound cheesy) follows her heart and her instincts less. She seems less like the girl we all fell in love with and more like a old, world-weary, ice-hearted (sorry) philosopher. She’s also rather, shall we say, lusty. *giggle*. What irritates me is that she loves and needs Edward MORE! I mean, how could that happen??? She needs/wants him more than AIR, for poops sake. The predictability is what really got to me. It lessened my interest. And Stephenie Meyer kind of contradicted herself with the whole baby thing. Sorry, I’m rambling. Only the way it was written saved it from complete disaster. I love getting more Alice after Bella becomes a vampire. The part with J. Jenks was also particularly entertaining. I wish she could have interacted with humans more. Bella is no longer a damsel in distress, which is AWESOME! If she would have had a harder time adjusting to vamp life and taken less in stride, I probably would have liked it better.

  36. rachel says:

I am torn. Bella was great as a human because she was relatively independent but she also managed to get herself into all sorts of situations that she needed saving. Bella was cute and blushed a lot when she was mortal but then Edward and Bella wouldn’t get to have all eternity together! :O I do like her as a vampire also because her power is one of the coolest. Also when she could actually hurt Edward. Loved it! Anyhoo, I really didn’t care whether she was changed or not but I was definently leaning toward her becoming a vampire. I was mostly worried that Bella would be different once she was changed but she was still good ‘ole Bella. So, I guess the answer to the question is that I’m 73.6% for her being vamped up and 26.4% for her staying human. For me mostly it is just depending on how she turned out, I mean, she’s still Bella after all…and she still has Edward. Grrr. πŸ˜€

  37. Paridhi says:

    I don’t know…I miss her eyes, I guess..
But I like the fact she beat Emmet in arm-wrestling.
But I don’t like that she can’t blush!!!!!
And her vampire beautiful-ness..is kind of ..say..artifical.
But overall I like Bella a lot!!

  38. Ed says:

These are terrific questions! I’m torn, but ultimately I would choose Super Bella. I’m hesitant because Simple Bella made for a compelling contrast and intrigue for Edward, and as some people have already said, she was an enjoyable narrator and easy to relate to. But I enjoyed the confidence that Super Bella had. I like that she was strong enough to hold a shield over a group of Vampires and that her view of Edward was enhanced after her transformation. Also, her narration was similar enough that she was still herself. There were some really great qualities that she kept…like her control of herself, her responsible and prudent nature, her love of Edward, and her “private mind,” as Stephenie calls it. But most of all…I love that she had the choice and ability to let Edward into her mind in the end, which she wouldn’t have been able to do if she were human.

And by the way, just to throw this in there…on the question of which Cullen would you save from last week, while I would immediately say EDWARD too, remember that if Bella dies then sadly Edward would resign to die as well–automatically. That is… if I’m following the canon correctly…so I think Carlisle would be a practical choice, even though I would be sad for Edward and Alice and Bella. πŸ™

Love you girls! You seem like sweethearts!

  39. Julia says:

I really don’t know. Simple Bella is more relatable, and the love between her and Edward is somehow more romantic when it’s impossible. Plus, when Bella was average-looking, Edward still thought she was the most beautiful person in the world and that was really sweet to read about, whilst SUPER Bella is just beautiful, to everyone.
However, SUPER Bella is so COOL! It’s so fun to read about the humans’ reaction to her, and Edward’s reaction, ect. It is also such a relief after all those books about her being helpless and weak to finally see her stand up, be strong, and, at the end, save the day. Edward doesn’t have to restrain himself with her anymore, or be so over-protective.
In Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse, to a lot of people they still weren’t entirely fantasy novels, because it was just a normal girl who could easily have been me, looking out at these amazing things in awe. It was just so realistic, we could actually believe that vampires existed. Breaking Dawn was fantasy, because Bella was an amazing thing and there was no way to relate with her, but we were all cheering her on anyway, because she’s always Bella.
A rough translation of what I just said is “I don’t know. I love them both.”
    And Bella rocks.

  40. Becca says:

I love super Bella because we finally know what extra power she has and she gets to be with Edward. I do miss simple bella though cos shes so clumsy!! Also loving Renesmee!!

  42. Jess says:

New Bella is what I have been waiting for throughout the entire series- every time I finished the most recent book, I would slam it shut with a cry of ‘SHE HASN’T TURNED YET!’, and refuse to think about it for a long time, so I’m glad it finaly happened. The only thing is I hate and loathe how freaking perfect she is! She has perfect control, and has not lost anything from her change at all. It’s unrealistic and frustrating. I loved how average she was a human, though, again, I hated how perfect her personality was, and how ‘good’ she was. Se didn’t seem to have any normal, human reactions to anything and she was annoyingly and unrealistically self-less.

I guess, in general, I rather hate Bella, but I preferr SUPER-Bella.

  43. Annabel says:

Whilst I like “Super Bella” a lot, I must admit I prefer human Bella. Her character changes so drastically so suddenly. It’s very hard to connect with vampire Bella, although I have wanted he to be a vampire from the start, and I love her power. Human Bella is so much easier to relate to, whereas vampire Bella is all of a sudden very motherly and protective, which I feel isn’t really in her character. She doesn’t have the same personality, and agreeing with Jess, she is unrealistic amount of self-control and selflessness. I would’ve preferred it if she had been a proper newborn and slaughterd Charlie, Jessica and Mike. I really hate Mike. And I hate Charlie, because he is a lazy fat slob who can’t do anything except fish and watch baseball. Cheers.

Although I can really relate to simple Bella more, it’s a lot more fun reading about super Bella. As they say in the book, Bella is really suited to vampire life and is happy there. She is an equal to Edward and has Renesme. Also, now that she’s not so breakable, she can turn her attention to more important things. She is also finally REALLY part of the Cullen family and loves every minute of it.

    Love listening to the podcast!

    Arabella, (almost Bella!)

hey ya’ll!!!! I love your podcast with the passion of a thousand firey suns lol!!
It is the only one i ever listen to lol.

    Moving right along (lol)
I think that I like a little bit of both bellas!
I love how almost every girl that reads twilight can relate b/c bella is so clumsy and insecure about her appearance. Everyone feels like they aren’t good enough sometimes, but we all hope to find that one boy that will love us unconditionally like edward. The reason i <3 new bella is how she has become stronger and can defend herself. I LOVE how edward can act with reckless abandonment and kiss her how he never got to b4. I mean they can literally do what ever they want now without having to worry about bedposts and feathers in the hair lol.
    LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!
please mention my comment on your podcast!! i would just adore you both!

i think the old Bella and Edward relationship was more based around the fact she was a human making it more……….intense and exciting building up to things.

The old Bella we could all relate to more….BUT i love the new improved vampire Bella……because she and Edward have more freedom (if u know what i mean lol πŸ˜‰ not to mention her power….and Renesme of course….lol

    Hey everyone<3
I am a person who says Bella is a winey teenage(as most are). Now that she has a kid(Nessie*GRRR*) she needs to be a hell lot more responsible or something bad might happen*cough cough* I really still just have this image in my head saying Bella is to young to have a kid who is growing at the Speed Of Sound(a awsome Coldplay song) who will some day be the same age(I mean whenBella was turned…). Edward went head over heals for her and same with her…..it is like most teenage love stories go<3
I’m not saying I HATE Bella… but just don’t like her daughter! You read it correct…I DON’T LIKE NESSIE! I don’t like how SM didn’t fallow her OWN rules. In other series(sorry but it might becoma an uproar cause I even meantioned it) such as Harry Potter(ahhh! I said it! Oh NO it is going to cause a vampizard war!). J.K. Rowling said that no one can come back from the dead and that’s what we got. Most of the good charceters(such as Fred, Tonks, Lupin, Sirus<3, Snape, ect.) got A.K.(killing cruse for anyone who doesn’t know). Now with SM she said vamps can’t have a blood(not really cause they have none) related child. But *pop* here’s Nessie! I am so not saying ‘I HATE SM Breaking Dawn was such a let down’just as they did for HP)…I’m just saying with out rules there is catastrophe!
Though I have to say I LOVE Kate…Irina… all of that coven(or clan).
    Always Vamptastic<3 Erin
P.S.- I love both series equaly(team Switz)! The love in bothseries last in every reader forever…..<3

I like the new Bella. I think it fits her personality really good. I love her power and I love how she can protect Edward and Renesmee and every one else she loves.

  50. sarah smiles says:

I think i am not able to decide who i love more,
    1. I like human Bella because she’s the relateable average teen we love so much
    2. i like vampire Bella because she’s still the same Bella we’ve always known and loved, just a little less whiny and a lot more confident
    3. i like human Bella because we got to feel how we would feel in her situation, things that vampires cannot feel
    4. I like vampire Bella because she knows she loves Edward and not Jacob πŸ™‚
    5. I like human Bella because…back then it was just a lot more…or i guess a lot less, weird
    6. I like vampire Bella because she can stay with Edward forever
