I am an anti-Nessie person and a I STILL HATE JACOB Girl! Well my favorite NEW character is…Irina. She was only misunderstood. I’m also HATING the voltri! It was the Voltri’s fault that she died but….. wait! What was the cause of her actions? Lets see…Victoria, Laurent, and James. Notice how it always turns back to them.>:) First off in the events that led to this awful event….. James just has to lust for Bella’s blood,so he and Victoria track Bella. Then the Cullens kill James. Victoria wants revenge…she sends Laurent to kill her but the wolves(I CALL EMBRY!) come and kill him. Now Irina hates Bella, The Cullens, and the wolves(shape shifters…what ever they are). Who does this remind you of…..*cough*bella*cough*.
EDWARD AND BELLA DUH!!!!!!! Bella got her Edward but Irina doesn’t get her Laurent..:( And since she hated the Cullens(now including *you know who now!* i didn’t spoil it) and saw the child…she just wanted her revenge. She goes to get the Voltri and ends up dead. Revenge is just built up hate…we need to forgive and forget.
Of course I still love MOST of the olds charatcers…such as Jazz<3,Emmett,Rose,and LEAH!?!?!(SM needs to write a book about her!) I’m always Alice at heart<3

I would have to say my new fave character is Edward. I know he’s been around since the beginning but, after Bella and Edward tied the knot and said their vows he just got so much better! He’s a little less protective and we get to see the careless side of him (honeymoon) *wink wink* *nudge nudge*. And after Bella was changed into her uber-cool, suped up vampire form he became just that much more care free and fun to be around! I also think Renesmee made him happier, and I simply LOOOVE how great he was to Jacob. Especially while Bella was preggers! I could almost forget the whole vampire vs. werewolf/shapeshifter thing!
oh my gosh this is a really hard one…(drumroll)…but i think my favorite character is now Jacob. i’m not exactly sure why, but it seems like the reason would be because he has gone through the most trauma up until he sees Renesmee. it’s just so inspiring, and he’s so courageous, if that makes sense. i mean, honestly, i think Jacob deserved more and that’s what he got. he’s also so funny throughout his book and makes me laugh all the time.
Wow … my new fav. That’s a toughy. Well, I have always had a soft spot for Jacob, thus the name Jacob’s Girl. He has always had the toughest and hardest transition throughout the book. What are you supposed to do when the love of your life runs off to get married to a vampire, then has a baby right out of the blue? But I’d have to say my new favorite is . . . da da dah . . . EMMETT! He is just hilarious in the last book. At certain parts of the book, he seriously made me laugh out loud really hard that my mom had to come into my room and ask if I was alright. Emmett was never truly explained characteristically in my opinion in the first few books, but this book showed me that he cared for Bella 100%, and he was frickin hilarious as well. Emmett can get anyone in an irritated mood, especially Charlie, with his loud-mouth jokes. 😀 Emmett is the best in this book.
And to you Kallie and Kassie, keep up the great work!
Jacob still remained my favorite throughout the series, but there was one character that skyrocketed to my second favorite with the Release of Breaking Dawn: Emmett I never paid much attention to him during most of the series, but his humor had me in STITCHES the entire time. Him and Jacob were just a riot.
Definitely Renesmee. My favorite line in the whole book; Renesmee was fascinated w ith teh conversation, and she reached out fearlessly toward Zafrina.
“Can I see?” she asked.
“What would you like to see?” Zafrina asked.
“What you showed Daddy.”
“What you showed Daddy.” I just love it. To think that in the beginning of all Twilight Edward was only but a lonely teenager. Now he’s a father. I just love him.
I think one of the most interesting new characters to read about was J. Jenks.
Aside from Bella, he seems to be the only human that the Cullens have some sort of relationship with.
It was fun reading about his and Max’s reactions to Bella in vampire form, because we didn’t really get that from the other Cullens, since they are used to vampire beauty.
It was also interesting to read that Jasper uses his talent to appear menacing to J, rather than soothe his mood, when he needs illegal papers. I just thought he was a really funny and an unexpected addition to Breaking Dawn.
it used to be jacob but he just annoyed the hell out of me with his maternal crap. he was totally mothering renesmee an taking over bellas job as mum an i waz lyk, oh get over it jacob ur just getting in the way of evryone
so now i love garret he is WICKED an his line to kate about following her to the end of the earth was just so sweet in a manly way lol 😛
Hmmm…this is a tough question. If I can count Bella because she changed so much from human to vampire, that’s my vote. But, although Jacob wasn’t new, I loved reading from his POV. Then again, Renesme was so cute, and I really liked her too. Really, I can’t make a final decision because I loved all the characters.

I’d have to say my favorite constant character is Alice, because she is amazing and reminds me of myself and my friends.
My favorite NEW character is OBVIOUSLY Carmen (cause she shares my name!), but i was really upset that she wasn’t featured more. plus she’s got Eleazar’s heart, and he rooocks my sooocks!
My favorite guy is Seth, cause my friend’s name is Seth, and cause the little werewolf is just so ADORABLE! (even though Jacob is MAJORLY HOT in the twilight movie!!!! *Gasp!*
of course i love bella and edward. 😀 they are beastly
i really hate renesmee’s name (although the nickname is mildly acceptable) and i despised the character herself….but she’s growing on me. i felt like it was sort of a cop-out for jake’s obsession with bella. it had to end somehow, or jacob would be totally alienated, but really……having him imprint on a kid (bella’s kid?) and her just mystically HAPPEN to stop aging when she gets to jacobs age…..dubious, people. real dubious.
OVERALL, i love TWILIGHT SOOOO MUCH AND I CAN’T WAIT FOR THE MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!
My favorite character right now is Jacob! At first I just loooved Edward, but lately Jacob has just grown on me so much! Especially reading from his point of view.
my favorite character would be still edward but hmm Garret sounds awesome and Renata from the volturi j(even tho we dont get to hear a lot from her and shes from the volturi) just because she has my name which is cool ! i was so happy when i read my name in the book i was freaking out!
and loved hmm the relationship between jacob and Rosalie i though ti was hilarius !
I can’t even decide which character I like best after reading Breaking Dawn, but who immediately comes in mind is Rosalie, especially together with Jacob and the “Blondie and Fido” jokes. Then I really liked Seth, he’s so adorable! Happy Edward warms my heart, and Vampire Bella somehow makes me proud … o.O! And not to forget Emmett, who is the most hilarious Vampire ever! Oh, I simply love them all!!! (all=Cullens, Charlie, nomadic vamps) Somehow I even liked Aro, he was my personal headdesk-moment (like: No, not really…? Yep, he did….*headdesk*)
Well i would Say Renesme because she is so kind with those around her and loves her family very much, and it a wonderful character.
Emmett – he was just so funny and the perfect big brother. I also have a newly found love of Jacob!
Why Renesmee of course! There is so much potiental there for a new series. She’s half vamp, half human, and even though we know about one of her abilities, there could be a whole host of other things that she could do. Not to mention the fact that her and Jacobs relationship would be interesting to see. I just have a feeling that there is a method to Stephenies madness. I just feel like there may be more with Nahuel (the other half vampire) and Nessie. Back in one of the other books, Jacob was explaining to Bella that the girl does have a choice when it comes to imprinting, but she always chooses the one who imprinted on her because, basically, he’s her perfect match. But couldn’t the only other person on earth who is just like you be an even better match? I would hate to see Jacob get passed over twice, but it could make for some interesting drama.

I’m Halle, and I just wanted to say that I love your podcasts, but this is the first time I am leaving a comment. On to the question! I actually have two seperate (that is actually 3)favorites. I would say that my first favorite new character is… Vladimir and Stefan. I know that is actually two, but they are kind of like one vampire. V + S aren’t my favorite because they are good and loyal to the Cullens, which is why they are definitely not my favorite overall, but they crack me up with how they talk. All they want to do is fight the Volturi, and when they get antagonized V and S become happier, which is the exact opposite that everyone else (besides emmett) feels. At the end of the book when everyone else is so relieved that it didn’t come to a fight Vladimir and Stefan are sulking that they didn’t get to beat up their rivals. It kind of reminds me of two brothers who never get along, and just want to fight each other, but more serious consequences to the losing side. I am also so curious to what exactly happened to them that would stir such animosity towards the Volturi.
My other favorite is Tanya, because she is always sidiling up to Edward and being all like, “oh heeyyyy edward” and hugging him all the time. Even though Edward always rejects her she never acts upset and sticks by the cullens till the end.

Hey guys!
Argh! This question is so hard! I used to automatially say Bella, Edward or Alice. And I love Bella still, especially when she is a vampire. Alice is still awesome and of course Edward is too but I just didn’t feel that either of them progressed, or changed at all. Which is fine (I love them just the way they are) but not really interesting. You know, I think I still prefer Bella. She is very good as a human and even better as a vampire, because she can kick butt now. She shows courage and an insane amount of selflessness when she is carrying Reneesme because, firstly she is risking (probably throwing away her life) by keeping her, and she is in pain for almost the entire Book Two. And secondly (and this is the part that put me in awe) even though she is in agony and is probably the one who is the number one priority, ect., she STILL tries to shield her loved ones from pain, by trying to hide how hurt she is. She still puts everyone else before her, even in this situation.
MIND-BLOWING. Bella is my fave, hands down.
But if it was out of the new characters, I would say… Reneesme. Because she’s cute.
Also, I love her name. Reneesme, I mean because it is unique and pretty, just like her. Not so much Nessie.

My fav character new character would probably be Nessie. I really think Meyer is going to take her story and run with it for future books. I also loved Jacob’s physical passion in previous novels so I’m curious to read how a kiss from him would be for Ness. I think she will steal the show like she did in breaking dawn.
I also found a new-found respect for Leah. I can totally relate to her on a love life level. It just seems like I can’t “imprint” either. I feel like i’m a bitter harpie sometimes who just wants her happily ever after (haha). So im pretty team leah right now lol. Ya’ll keep up the GREAT work. This the only podcast i love listening to on my ipod! I’m all Team Kallie, Kassie,and Lindsey!

my favorite mew character is definitely one of the new vampires. I couldn’t decide, so I just wrote two. I really liked Garrett ( the nomad) and Kate from the Denali clan. Garrett cool with the way that he wants to challenge himself with trying something new and different just to see if he could. I like Kate because of how she worked with Bella and was smart when she thought of having Bella protect Renesmee and then seeing of Edward could read Nessie’s (hate the nickname by the way!!!) thoughts. She is also funny with the way she uses her power. With Garrett and Bella. She was friendly, all nonchalant to Bella. Like, you touching me just then should have flattened you, but good for you, it didn’t.

My favorite character… ooh, that’s a toughie, but I’d have to say Seth. In New Moon I started to become a Jacob fan, not for Bella but for some other nice girl that he could be happy with. Then in Breaking Dawn when he imprinted on Renesmee I kind of got mad because even thought it’s cute how he imprinted on like the essence of Bella, it made me mad that he would call her Nessie and take her away from Bella so he became lower on my “List Of Fav Characters.” I really loved Jacob’s book and personally that was my favorite out of the three books of BD because it made me realize who my absolute favorite character is. SETH!
He’s AMAZING! He’s my age (13) in New Moon, if I can remember correctly and “werewolves”/ shape shifters do not age so he would still be 13. If you really think about that, it’s actually quite funny because he’s just so sweet and absolutely hysterical and he just makes everyone so happy! He has no prejudices against the vampires and he sticks with his pack. I especially loved him when Jacob took off from Sam’s pack to go on his own and Seth came running up behind Jacob thinking “Hey! Wait up! I can’t run as fast as you!” it made me start cracking up! He’s like the little brother who looks up to Jacob and he seems to have a good relationship with his sister, Leah even though she’s older and gets on his nerves sometimes (I quote, “Oh, man! Go away, Leah!”) lol.
I love Seth because he’s just so cute and he must be HAWT because, well, of course he’s part of the pack. (And he’s my age!) I’m sorry, I’m crushing on a fictional werewolf but Seth truly is my favorite character.
My friend, Sam calls me her “wolf girl” because I’m so obsessed with the whole pack.

My NEW fav is Zafrina. Zafrina is soo awsome and cute with little Renesmee.
I would have to say my favorite character is Bella. I think she is a very interesting character and someone that many people could relate to. I really liked how she matured and has gained more confidence in Breaking Dawn. Of course she has flaws, but I think that just makes her more relatable, and she proves you don’t need to be a perfect Rosalie to find love and happiness. I also love how selfless she is, and willing to put those she loves before herself ( and how she loves to read, something not enough people do today.) I think all her mistakes in the previous books have all been a crucial part of her growing up and adding dimension to her character. Kristen Stewart is also a great actress, and I think she is the perfect Bella. Anyway, I hope this answers your question, I love the show and keep up the great work.

I have to say this a tough question! Anyway as weird as this may sound I do not have a new fav character. I have always loved Alice because of her energy and loyalty. She gave Jasper a new life and gave him hope when he had none. She is loyal to Jasper, the rest of the Cullens, and Bella as a friend. Alice also just seems to be so happy all the time! Despite her dark past she manages to be optimistic about the future. Oh and also if i had to pick a fav new character it would be Leah. I love her personality too but I still like Alice better than them all!

Sigh. This is a real hard question! I’d have to say Leah 😀 I have a feeling that if Stephenie Meyer writes another book about the Twilight series it’d be on her POV. I actually have two new favorites in the book…the first being Renesmee because she is unique and because she represents the eternal bond between Bella and Edward. My second favorite is Bella. In a way she is a new character because she is no longer the fragile human that she started out as. I loved Bella from the very beginning, but I loved her character even more after she became a vampire (wife and mother as well) because she got to become an even stronger character physically and emotionally without losing the essence of Bella. Also I’d just like to say that I thought it was cute how in the book she thinks about how she’s so happy that she finally found a world that she natuarally fits into…And i love the podcasts!!

Garret because he always knows how to have a good time and be funny. Also, i love him cause of the way he is to kate. I like how he stops her from attacking the Volturi when the Voturi kills Irina and what he says to her right before they came… that he will fallow her whereever. he is just so sweet and caring!!!
Renesmee because she is just so loveable! The way Bella describes her, her little hands, her dimpled cheeks and the point between her eyebrows where it creases when she is thinking hard. Nessie is a sweet person who would never hurt a fly. I loved how she understood and didn’t bite or do anything to Charlie the first time she meets him. Also, she looks like Edward, and when can that be a bad thing…. EVER? 🙂 keep up the great podcast girls! i love it!

My favorite new character? Definitely Renesmee. It took me a few weeks for her to grow on me. But now I totally love her 😀

I love Renesmee. She is the cutest thing in the world, and I like her “special” power Stephenie Meyer came up with.
Defiantly Renesmee because of how she is part bella and edward. It’s great that she still has bella’s chocolate brown eyes and also she has edward’s bronze hair color. Also her new power… it’s amazing that edward and read people’s minds and bella can protect people’s minds. But Nessie’s power is that other people can read her through her memories with one simple touch. You have to wonder if her power is like Aro’s but with the opposite effect. Can the people Renesmee touch see ALL her thoughts and memories or just the one she chooses them to see. I mean I still love edward but now there is a child that is part of him and bella. It’s awesome!

Well, from all the new characters, I’d definitely have to say that my favorite is Benjamin. Ben has an awesome power (who wouldn’t want the power to control the elements? He can literally burn Jane and all those Volturi!) and he also has a good head on his shoulders. When faced with the choice to do the right thing or stick with his coven, he chose to stay with the Cullens to witness for Renesmee. He was also willing to fight. Plus, he’s Egyptian. What could possibly be more awesome than an Egyptian vampire with the power to control the elements and good morals?
I cant pick just one new favorite character… I really like Garret, I mean his speech to the vampires about the Vulturi was amazing, it was what I was feeling the whole time they were stalling for reasons to kill the Cullens. I also really love his personality, I was rolling on the floor laughing when he asked Kate about her power and she laid him out and he said he liked it.
I also really took a likeing to Leah. Although she was a bit of a pain to the Cullens, we got to see inside her head and find out what it was like to loose a Sam because of imprinting…. I mean we always see imprinting for the wolves as a good thing and that they find the person they can be with, but we never get to see what consequences it has for the others around them like if they already had a girlfriend when they imprinted on someone else… as was the case for Leah.
And of course I also LOVE Renesmee… how could you not? But I do hate how Jacob started the whole Nessie thing, and I hate even more that by the end of the book Bella caved and started calling her Nessie too 🙁
Wow, this is a tough question, but my new fave would have to be Renesmee! I love her! i love the power she has, its so adorable! I think it was so cute when she showed some of Edward’s family members her power. I loved it! When i read that she was hunting with Jacob and Bella i was like, “whoa…that is one super cool vamp-astic baby…” I was in shock! I love her! i want her to be my baby! 🙁 lol I hate it when people call her Nessie, I like Ranesmee much better. I would hate it if someone named my child after a monster, so i would have done the exact same thing that Bella did when she found out that Jacob named her after a monster.I love her also because she’s Edward’s and Bella’s daughter!!!!!! I love Renesmee she is my new Favorite. 🙂 I love your podcasts! Keep up the good work girls, i love them! Keep them coming!

Hello! My new favorite character in Breaking Dawn would honestly have to be Carmen. Though at first when I tell people that, and they say, “Wait, who’s Carmen, and what did she even do?” I could understand, because she is not too widely mentioned in the book. But when the Denali’s first come to the Cullen’s, they are all a bit willing but reluctant to help them and are almost a little frightened (I said almost) by Reneesme. Carmen is the one who really steps up and listens to Reneesme’s story. Her maternal instints kick in and she is pulled in by Reneesme’s charm, and is immediatley in, telling the other’s that she’s not dangerous to them. I really do respect her, even though she’s just a fictional character, for instilling trust into the Cullen’s (Edward and Bella, mainly) by listening to Renesme’s story first. Anyone who can trust a vampire with a strange half-human- half-vampire child in their hands is a great friend and a great person in my book.

reason why i didnt pick jacob, is because well i have loved him for the entire series.
(oh i also like the girl that jacob met in the park, but im mad that he didnt imprint on her because that is totally me all over, at least i can think that jacob would like me, and date me if it wasnt for the whole liking bella, and imprinting thing)

If I had to choose a new favorite character from Breaking Dawn, I’d definitely have to go with Renesmee. I didn’t expect her at all so she completely took me by surprise when she arrived. I love her spirit and her power over everyone around her. It’s almost as if people instantly like her when they give her the chance to “speak to them.” She seems like a really happy and very loved girl. I also absolutely love her vampire gift. She’s intelligent and observant, which reminds me of Bella. She stares at you as if she’s an average adult rather than a rapid-growing toddler. I think it would be interesting to learn more about her in possible future books from her perspective when she’s older. I thought it was great that Jacob imprinted on her so I’d like to see what she feels when she learns about that and how she regards everyone else in her world.
I stand by my earlier post that Alice is one-of-a-kind, but my favorite new character is vampire Bella. When she explained how being immortal felt right, how she finally found her place, that was an amazing happy ending. The book was always about Bella, and her story was resolved at that point. No matter what happened after that point, if she lived or died, knowing her contentment in its purest form. Her strength permeated the rest of book three, and saved the vampires from a deadly battle.
My favorite new character is Leah. I always found her whinny and a little self centered in the other books, but in Breaking Dawn i loved to get to know her true pain. Plus, i am really close with my little brother, and i adore her relationship with Seth. I can also feel her pain about being worried about not being able to have children. I think i would also be very bitter if i pretty much knew I was unable to have children and not being able to do anything about it. And she did nothing to decide this path for herself, which makes it even more upsetting! But I loved getting to know her story a little bit better and now have a little bit of a soft spot for the hard Leah!
