I have a huge question, and I hope to enlighten me.
If Leah is transformed into a wolf, like Jacob who is a direct descendant of Ephraim Black, because Jacob’s sisters are transformed into wolves?
it is assumed that Rachel and Rebecca are also descendants of Ephraim Black, and therefore were more likely to turn to Leah.
I do not understand.

Why didn’t Edward think to take a portable heater surely he would have seen them at Newtons?

In Eclipse Edward tells Victoria James never cared for her and there relationship was a matter of convenience is there any truth to this statement?
Was the ashes in the basement Diego’s?
Why didn’t Riley train the Newborns earlier? I think they could of had a slim chance at defeating the Cullens but it seems they mucked around for to long doing nothing.
Did Victoria tell Riley all the Vampire rules including the Volturi? And did Victoria tell Riley about the sun once she put him in charge of the Newborns?
I would like to start off: Stephenie, you are an amazing writer, the series are truly imaginative. I especially love the amount of detail you give each character.
My questions for you:
1. We all know about babies and ‘half breed’ baby/children as vampires but what about elder ages (unless Aero or another character is older and I missed something)? It seems as though all the vampires are transformed from human to vampire around 13- 20ish.
2. How much ‘input’ do you really have on the movies? I know there are directors and you are a writer, but do many decisions ultimately come down to you? Has everyone read the books that are part of the entire production (as well as actors)? I read somewhere that Kristin did not read the series when she began filming Twilight.
3. How do your visions of the book differ from the visuals of the movie? What are your reactions when things are not as you imagined while filming? Do you have any specific stories with this?
4. If you were to continue the series and say the Cullen’s have no choice but to overcome the Volturi. Do you think the Cullen’s would change the vampire laws, as assumingly they would become the new ‘royals’? If (I apologize for what if’s) they do, would you think they would want to convert all vampires to their vegetarian style? Or would they be open minded and keep the laws already set in place?
-My question may be easier as phrased as such: If the Cullen’s were ever to become the new ‘royals,’ do you think they would want to make a new law where all vampires should convert to vegetarian-ism or are they open minded?
P.S. As much as I love what you have written from Midnight Sun, I hope the fans will not make you more upset by their pleads. I believe you will make the decision if and when you are ready. Thank you again for the truly enjoyable series.

3. When you first decided to write Jacob in New Moon (obviously giving him a bigger part of in the series) did you know right away that Jacob would eventually imprint on some other girl to get over Bella, or did you ever conceder Jake would end up with Bells?

5. Do you have any new non-Twilight projects you plan bestowing on the world.

Many Thanks for great Twilight experience. The books are fantastic.
I would love to know if you might concider to continue Jacob’s and Renesmee story. It was really sad at first to see Jacob suffering so much, but once he imprinted with Renesmee everything got in it’s places. Imagination is unlimitted and I got the whole story of their reltionship in my mind, but it would be fantastic to read your version of it. Jacob has to find peace in his heart and mind.

My name’s Sifat Harun and the Twilight Series are my favorite books. Recently I read the book “The short second life of Bree Tanner” which is also truly amazing. But I still have a question.
1) The volturi knew about Victoria and her plan in killing the Cullen clan, they actually wanted Victoria to annihilate them. So, it’s pretty obvious that the Volturi want the Cullen’s dead because they view they’re increasing power as a threat. In Breaking Dawn we see that the Volturi’s are back with a reason to eradicate the Cullen’s yet they are unsuccessful. So isn’t it reasonable to have a fifth addition to the Twilight Series? In this fifth addition not only do we find out whether the Volturi are successful in overthrowing the Cullen’s, but we can also find out more about Bella’s vampire life. And I personally am interested in finding out more about Renesmee and Jacob’s growing relationship.
This is more of a plead than a question but it would be wonderful if I could find out more about Edward and his perspective of life especially since he could read everyone’s thoughts. So if you get the chance please do finish Midnight Sun.
Also, Midnight Sun is Edward’s version of Twilight. So if you ever do get the chance to finish Midnight Sun, will you begin Edward’s version of the rest of the saga or will Midnight Sun be the end? I ‘m actually interested to know how Edward felt when he left Bella in New Moon, what emotions he under undergoes.

I thiink I know the answer for your question if Vampire’s hair grow. and No their hair doen’t grow back because in the Short Life of Bree Tanner… Bree explained that Riley was mad and ripped some hair of a vampire girl and her arm, so the hand could be fixed back but the hair couldn’t. You should read it 😉

why did u allow bella to get on jacobs bike in the movie in front of edward that doesnt happen in book. she would never do that,out of charecter dont u think,its wrong,she does it to alice, did u allow this?

We understand the theory of imprinting is how the wolves find their mates.
Carlisle was a vamp for a long time before he changed any1, viz Edward. Edward said he has walked the earth between his kind and humans for a long time but never found any1 he wanted to be with. Then Carlisle found esme and changed her and rosalie etc etc…
My question is: why is it that carlisle and edward were vampires for a long time without havng found mates, because they did walk amongst both human and vampire females? Is there a theory similar to imprinting that exists for vampires or is their choice of a mate a random choice?

1)I want to know exactly when Victoria got the idea to create the newborn army? Did she begin as early as Twilight? And how did she get the idea?
2)We know werewolves are very hot at 108 degrees but how cold are vampires what’s there body temperature? (Tent scene)

you are probrobly one of the coolest people ever. honestly you are one of the best authors i have ever read in my entire life. the twilight series were so well written and everyone seams to love them . I love the way you used the forbidden love theme and the books are just phenomenal and amazing. i have always loved the whole fantasy idea and your books got me hooked even more. Where did you even get the idea to write these books about vampires? i also enjoyed reading the short second life of bree tanner and i liked how you made it the point of view from her because it made you see that even though she was on the bad side she didnt really want to be. i also read the midnight sun unfinished script and i absolutely loved it and i understand why you dont want to finish it. honestly you are the best author i have ever read and i am a huge fan. I remember in Breaking Dawn when Jacob gave Renesme a Bracelet that was suppose to signify like an “engagement ring” the wolves gave their imprint to. So I was curious if the bracelet given to Bella from Jacob in Eclipse suppose to have the same significance or meaning as the bracelet Jacob gave Renesme in Breaking Dawn? Did Jacob intend the same thing even thought the bracelet Jacob gave Bella has a little carved wolf.

what happens fred? where dad he go? was he in love wid bree?
in eclipse bella gets really upset cause jacob hears her n edward discussing their best nights n all n he goes away… bella gets all upset n tells edward to go get him…what did that make edward feel? when he met jacob what was the exact conversation between them? did jocob planed to make bella kis haim n all when he went back to belle? how did edward feel about it?
Does the theme of “Fire and Ice” (the title of an Eclipse chapter and the piece written by Robert Frost) have to do with Jacob vs. Edward, or the death of a vampire? I say this because vampires’ fear/avoidance of fire is emphasized in Bree Tanner, when Bree explains how the vamps try to stay away from things on fire (cars, other vamps, etc.). I’d always thought that Fire and Ice meant Jacob vs. Edward, but now I’m having thoughts that it has to do with the general burning of a vampire (or maybe even the burning/death of a Bella vampire)? Hope you understand what I’m trying to say! Just wanted to know what you had originally meant when you wrote this 🙂

what would happen if a ‘half breed’ like nessie was bitten by a vampire? would she transform into a normal vampire just in half the time because she is already halfway or would she take the same amount of time but just be a lot stronger than any other vampire due to the excess venom (?) thanks xxxx

I read the short second life of bree tanner and was amased it was a large step for the twilight saga. But it also leaves you hanging what happens to diego? Fred? I love the concept of a never ending love story because its just that never ending.

I guess you won’t ask her this because it is not about Eclipse, and she probably won’t want to answer. Yet, i’ll try.
I wonder when she will continue writting “Midnight Sun”. I have not read the part of the book that was illegally published because I really believe that she has not written it to be half read. I’m not one of those fans that would scream and cry if she were right in front of me, but I really love her books (including “The Host” and “The Short Second Life of Bree Tarnner”) and I think it’s the least I can do, after all that her books have made me feel.
So I only wanted to give my opinion and ask her to finish the book as soon as possible. Actually I was also interested to make you see that if you were really fans of her and her job, you would respect her.

2. What happened with all the information Bree gave to Edward?? He never uses that information to prevent his family from the Volturi intentions, why did he underestimate them.
3. Was Edward intention to worn Bree to close her eyes when Felix was going to kill her, or just to Bella.

I´m a really fan of your series and I have some questions…
*I read twilight when I saw new moon (no long ago) and some friends also started reading twilight series after the movie… did you feel that you had more fans after the movie?
*About the movie… In the MTV clip Bella leaves just in front of Edward! How is that posible?! I mean that never happened in the book, because Bella would have never hurt Edward that way! So… why did they put that part in that scene? In the book it was perfect because then Edward would have explained her in class what happend, so how did she find out then?
*If Bella´s blood smells good only for Edward, then why did Laurent say her blood was irresistible?
*When you were writing…. did you imagine Bella, Edward, Jacob, The Cullens, The Wolf pack, and all the others characters the way the actor are? because it really confused me when I read that Jacob was bigger than Edward and seemed more scaring, no offenses, but that´s not the way I saw it in the movie.

I think most of the main characters have significant backgrounds given except for Esme and Emmett. What was Esme and
Emmett’s lives like before becoming vampires? I did gain a little insight having read Midnight Sun and learned Esme likes
to entertain with garden parties and of course she tries to kill herself after losing a baby. It would be interesting to know if they have a story to tell as well.

I really enjoyed “the short second life of bree tanner”. You have said in other interviews that you are done with Edward and Bella’s story, but you may revisit the Twilight universe in a later book. I found the character of Freaky Fred rather interesting, and was wondering because of his open-ended escape from the massacre of the newborns, if his may be one of the stories that you are considering for a future novel. I’ve yet to read anything by you that I didn’t love, so even if you never return to a Twilight story, I look forward to any forthcoming book. Happy writing!

I just want to say, like everyone else, you are an amazing writer. I will get straight to the question – would you consider writing an alternative ending to the story where Bella chooses Jacob. Some may say, the story would end there. But I totally disagree. YOU are amazing in creating stories for each character, example being Bree Tanner. I know that you could continue their life together – What happens with the Volturi, when she isn’t changed. There are so many directions that you could go with this. I would like you to consider. My question isn’t really a question, it is more of a request. I completely devoured The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner. It sucked me in from the very first page and I couldn’t put it down! On page 171, one thing struck me: what is up with the contempt that Jane has for Alice? Why did Bree get the feeling that Jane hated Alice more than Bella? What confrontation could possibly have occured between them in a different time? If you would be so kind as to explain that, I would be exceedingly happy. 🙂 Maybe from Alice’s point of view. Just a few suggestions from an adoring fan!

Thanks for asking the question about why Jane had more contempt for Alice than Bella. I, too, have wondered. One of my theories is that the vampire that changed Alice in the mental institution (same one James killed) had been favored by Jane, and she was therefore jealous of Alice.

OH! That is an interesting theory!! I like it. My personal theory is maybe they had a run-in before Alice met up with Carlisle. Either way, I definitely want to know more! 😀
I think it is because in BD Edward says Aro has never wanted anything more than he wants Alice. Jane is jealous she does’nt like Bella because Aro is fascinated by her. Jane has been Aro’s favorite for centuries and she does’nt like competition.

1. There are such great morals to the story which set a good example to youth and young adults. For example practicing abstinence and also setting a true example of how love should/could be (minus the ummm…mythologies)…Have you had any fans that have been affected in this way at all?
2. I know you are not going to complete Midnight Sun…yet. Just wondering if you ever thought that Edward’s thoughts and actions (minus the animal hunting!) would be a good example of how men should be and what women should be looking for?

I was just wondering if since Bella’s blood smells so good to Edward if that is usually the case for a vampire and human who are intended to be together or if it’s just a coincidence. (for instance: if Jasper had run across Alice when she was human would she have smelled that good to him). I know Carlisle doesn’t say so about Esme and Rosalie about Emmet so I was just wondering if there was any signifigance or pattern to it. Particularly if Bella was a vampire first and smelled Edward as a human, would he have been her ‘singer’ also?
Would you ever consider writing Alice and Jasper’s story in full like you’ve done with Bree Tanner or as part of maybe some short stories about the Cullens before they met Bella?
And if you felt like you had a plot/storyline that just had to be written would you ever consider continuing Edward and Bella’s story?
Love the series, can’t wait to read The Short Life of Bree Tanner when I eventually get round to buying it – are you ever going to do book signings in the UK?!

I really want to know what life will be like for Nessie. What will it be like for her going to school? What traits will she take from each of her parents? How does the relationship between her and Jacob work? What troubles or difficulties will they go through?
I also personally want to beg you to finish Midnight Sun. I wish I had a time machine so I could go back and change what happened. I often think about how many more hours of joy I would get from your writing if one person didn’t ruin it for us all.

First off I am a Host fan first Twilight fan by way of Host second! I ant more HOST!! anyway. I see alot of comments about Midnight Sun Please finesh it! I also agree with the follow up to Breaking Dawn a fifth book is needed to put everything to bed and would be a great opurtunity to bring Fred into the picture and lets not forget another movie would be required lol!!
As far as Eclipse. Was killing Bree just a matter of necessity as a writer? I read how you wish you had considered letting her live, now that you have written Bree’s story but in the long run do you think you could have done that and made the remaining story work as far as integrating her into the Cullins life in Breaking Dawn? She could have made for a nice imprent for one of the wolf’s 😛 !!
