MTV News spoke with Christina Perri, whose new track “A Thousand Years” will appear in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1, to get her initial reaction to the news. Listen to a portion of interview below:

Jack Morrissey is quite the gold mine of information, and just yesterday he answered a fan’s question about a rumor regarding the run time for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1:

We posted our ideas during our “Gettin’ Down in Breaking Dawn” contest, and now we finally have the full track listing for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 soundtrack! Love that Iron & Wine’s “Flightless Bird, American Mouth” is back! And look! Mia Maestro, the Denali coven’s own Carmen, is on the soundtrack, too. Also, YAY for the soundtrack not being revealed one song at a rate of one song per hour like the Eclipse soundtrack was last year!

In this new interview with Billboard.com, Bruno talks about the Breaking Dawn story and how his song, “It Will Rain”, came about:

Just hours after it was announced that Bruno Mars’ ‘It Will Rain’ would be the first single from the ‘Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1’ soundtrack, he was already talking about going to the movie’s premiere.
